It took me about 3 years of trading full time to get rid of the 9 to 5 mentality where I had to constantly be engaged with the market. Trading is about patience and knowing when to involve yourself in the market. It is a difficult concept to master.
...but once you get it, things get better!

The hardest thing about trading is the psychological part. How do you act when you see the charts, do you just execute at market price do you wait for retest. Be precise. It's a precision game
Trade what you see not what you think Definitely!! After learning from mentor's, videos, books, websites and forms . You can definitely have brain overload or pirallisis by analysis. Thanks E great to have you here.
It's crazy how the difference from a profitable trader, and a non profitable trader. is one mental shift, but its the harder mental shift you could ever make. takes years to do.

The markets are not random
"Trade what you see not what you think." The market knows what it is doing, you just have to figure out what that is and how to trade it. I had a broker, haha, he started out good the first week, then he didn't. After he dumped what he made that first week he took a trade and told me he "likes" doing it that way. Right, it didn't work. I don't pay commissions for what you "like". I told him to prove himself to me before I totally go with him. He did. haha. Now I don't use him.
One week is not enough to prove someone right or wrong. Some setups have 3% winrate and makes ton of money.
What book did he recommend? All I heard was Larry Presivinko?
Nvm found his name in the book I just decided to revisit Trading in the Zone by Mark Douglas.. his name is Larry Pesavento.. if that isn't destiny idk what is lol

No sir, the market is not random...…..some set ups have a higher probability of success than others, but it is not random to a trained eye (7:00)

I disagree that market is random,No is not.
Get 10 expert traders to predict where the market will go tomorrow or next week or next month...50% will be wrong. Therefore it's random
Me is me and you as you we both different and market is not random.
The Market r not random . The distribution of winners and losers is what´s RANDOM . But the patterns r quite repetitive . But yes , at the end it´s all probabilities
