great vid! When i did my install video on the 2012, ski-doo didnt predrill or even premark the holes. Nice to see they changed that. Saves a lot of time and guesswork! Check those bolts periodically, I find they can vibrate loose and fall out over time.
Thanks for the tip. I know they have thread lock on them but you can't be sure they are going to stay on with all of the rattling and bumping. Ski-Doo is always thinking ahead especially if it makes it easier for you to install you are more likely to buy accessories. Thanks for watching.
Hey Paisteboy, Ive been enjoying your videos recently getting rev'd up for the coming season. Just bought a new 2019 Blizzard and cant wait for some snow. We got a little but i already dug up the lawn enough. I have the seat bag, but I like this one you got. might have to look into one.
Congrats on the new sled John! I've been wanting this bag for a couple of seasons now but didn't want to pay 150 bucks for it. The timing couldn't have been any better for half price. It looks like it can hold quite a bit of stuff too! If you make some videos of your new sled let me know. I'll check them out. Bring on the snow!

Ski Doo is so smart by putting the holes in all the tunnels ! You'll need that bag to go on a tour up here in Canada ! Sudbury is a great spot . Come on up this winter ! 35% exchange rate . It's all good.
I might take you up on that. We'll have to see what Mother Nature provides locally first. Mudd Brats wants me to come up if I can too. If I do make the trip, I will have to try to make it a ride with you guys.

That's what I'm thinking Jim. All of my buddies just get up off their sleds and walk into the restaurant and stuck at my sled disconnecting GPS's, GoPro's and all kinds of other stuff and I end up stuffing mist it in my helmet just I can walk in a place. It will be nice to stuff it all in the bag and carry it in. Maybe we can get out for a ride together this season.
Hey PB, Just got a '18 Blizzard to compliment by "17, and they redesigned that bag for '18. IMO the '17 design that you and I have was better and held a little more. Either way those things are great for carrying my Thermos, shovel, extra gloves, water, etc. If I'm not mistaken you can even add the side saddle bags with this bag attached. Looking to get an extra tall windshield for one of them for the cold days. I'll let you knew when we'll be in O.F. See you on the trails brother!

do you plan on getting any performance upgrades for your sled? perhaps a can or reeds? if so you should make some videos on it. you should also make a video on cleaning the valves again. i find myself rewatching the one you did on the old 700. do you miss the old 700? how was it going from the zx chassis to xm? excuse me for all the questions. hope you had a great thanksgiving man! cheers
I really don't plan on doing any performance upgrades to the sled. I considered buying an MBRP can recent ant the Toronto show but didn't. The cops here in New York will ticket me if I had one. I talked to them at the Rochester snowmobile show about it in detail. Fortunately for me but not for making videos, the new E-tec motors run so clean that the valves won't need to be cleaned for many, many more miles down the road. I will probably have a new sled before they need to be cleaned. To be honest, I don't really miss the old MXZ 700 because the new sled just rides so much better. The transition only took about a full day of riding to get used to it but I like the new sled so much better. Thanks for watching and I hope you had a great Thanksgiving too.

im not going for the gen 4 chassi model because i heard from a dealer here in newhampshire that some dont like the feel of having the driveshaft under you where the model you have just felt better and he has sold more mxz tnt 600 and blizzards the last 3 years than this year by now they should be gone but he has crates still full and there is snow in pitsburg nh im trying to find a used or leftover in the same chassi as youres he told me sometimes they try too hard rather than just leave what worked alone so dont be too in a hurry to upgrade i ride with a guy who still rides his 2002 polaris classic or his 1999 classic xlt i had 2 sledds sinse 1999 was new and now i have nothing and he is ready to go
That's interesting. I haven't had a chance to ride a Gen4 myself but by the time I get my next sled, they will all be Gen4 chassis. Nothing wrong with an old sled as long as someone is happy with it. My brother was still riding his 2002 MXZ 700 until not too long ago and he actually misses it. Thanks for watching.

Sure. I got my GPS through my Ski-Doo dealer. I ordered it with my sled and they installed it. It is the Garmin Montana 650T. You can order it online though. Make sure to get the mount with power cables.
I took them off before I put the cover on for the summer and just haven't put them back on yet. They're on my toolbox. I forgot to settle up with you at the snowshow too. How do you think the conditions are going to be for Snodeo?
Paisteboy if we don’t lose all of it and they get what is predicted we should be able to get some seat time. Fingers crossed. Either way looking forward to the drag racing and the ski doo party. I looked at my sliders while making this video and it looks like I'm probably going to have to install new sliders before the first ride. The engine stayed cool enough all of the time while riding but I probably should have been using my ice scratchers more because then sliders are pretty much done. Fingers crossed because it's raining over here.
