I was just here a couple of weeks ago. My food was outstanding. I too have eaten BBQ all over the nation and Caldwell County BBQ measured up. I was even there on a Sunday night at about 8:00 and the brisket was surprisingly moist and tender. I do however like my brisket cut thick and, for the record, corn casserole is supposed to be that consistency, it's not cornbread!

That’s my dads restaurant
I thought it was very ok. I have struggled to find good BBQ in Arizona. A place I like is Waldo's at ValVista and Williamsfield. Their beer and meat selection are really good!!!!
My favorite place is closed right now with everything going on, but they did go mobile with a trailer out in Buckeye...My favorite brisket in the nation...
@@HarleyLarz the Horney Toad in Cave Creek is legendary! Just to far for me to go to enough. Always a lot of Harley's when I have gone.

The mustard sauce is the best one. Get potato salad next time and the Turkey. It’s much better now. They taste test every day it’s very good
We’ve tried both Caldwell and Homer’s and love Homer’s best
Where is Homer's? What did you like better about them?
Homer’s is on Ocotillo just west of Ironwood in Queen Creek and they have moist flavorful brisket, fries fried in duck fat, Brunswick stew...

Little miss BBQ is so much better.
Thanks for the reply. I am not a fan of them. Waited over an hour and the food was mediocre. Try Texas BBQ House...I did a review there in December...And will have another review with my grandson coming out in about a week.
@@HarleyLarz I live about 20 mins from Texas BBQ house and I'd rather wait at little miss. I've already watched that video as well though. Another small BBQ spot opened in Avondale that seemed promising but I can't remember the name. I can't stand that Caldwell uses mesquite wood it's s huge negative in the flavor profile to bbq. Near the val-vista area is a small spot called Jalapeño Bucks you should give that spot a try.

What is your go to thing at a BBQ Place?
@@HarleyLarz Brisket. I do competition BBQ so I'm picky since I think my stuff is better then most. Jalapeño bucks is different but good. The burritos are awsome.
