Rewatched this for the first time in years. Very funny. Play your Iraqi cards right may be one of the most fantastically tasteless bits of comedy I’ve seen (may have to be my age to get some of the jokes). Wonder how many of those jokes such an achingly establishment comedian as MB would do now or the BBC (who I don’t hate) would allow now. I miss the relaxed irreverence of 20 years ago.
I think Marcus was there for the Brian Blessed episode, too. Has Marcus done any other episodes or just these two that are a bit crazy and over the top silly?
Bruce is brilliant because he's giving us a kind of satire on satire... very meta.
This and Brian Blessed's appearance are by far the two funniest shows they've ever done.
