    Do you offer a course on how to use a screener..?
    There are many options mentioned; seems like too many. Lol
    But I'd like to start somewhere. Do you have shorts lists on using a screener with examples?
    Thank you!

      lol, maybe I should offer a paid course :) For now, watch the first 5 mins again and apply all settings that I used to get to under 100 stocks. Use those for the next 30 days and see how it goes.
      The good thing is once you set it up you can save it and just refresh to have a new list the next day.

    Hello, Can I have a screener only for my personal List ?

    • @kevincortese7751
      @kevincortese7751  ปีที่แล้ว

      Let’s assume that you wish to scan the existing Watchlist, or at least part of it. Here is what you need to do.
      Open the Watchlist.
      Select multiple symbols and choose the Flag All Selected option from the menu.
      Go to the Screener and enable filtering by flagged symbols (please note that only the symbols that are traded on the market you selected in the Screener's filters will show up).
      Customize the columns by removing undesirable ones and adding the ones you need.
      Filter and/or sort the list as per your criteria.

    Very good screener setting. You should provide videos in multiple languages e.g. Hindi on your channel, if possible a bit. So that we can learn more from you. Thanks 😊

      Glad you enjoyed. It's unfortunate Americans typically only know one language when people of the world speak multiple languages/dialects. Hopefully TH-cam's autotranslate feature helps.

      Further I request you to please share a screener to find stocks having 10X + potential returns in 1 to 3 tears time frame. From this screener I found many stocks already doubled from it's SMA200 level. I want a way to find stocks readying to fly from the below or equal of 200SMA. When I set this filter on your screener, very less or none stocks are filtered out. Kindly see. Thanks

      @kevincortese7751  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      1-3 year time frame is more of an investor than a trader. You may want to filter for stocks that have dropped 20%+ or hit recent lows, perhaps you can look into P/E ratio 0, PEG price to earnings growth

    The screener doesnt look like that anymore, how do i get my screener to look like yours Kevin ?

      @kevincortese7751  หลายเดือนก่อน

      I made this video last year, but now you can access these settings with the + sign on the stock screen. For example, in the linked image I eliminated 10,000 stocks by filtering for price above the 1H 20 EMA (EMA below price): ibb.co/ySCSpT0

    Hi can you make video on crypto pair and forex screener?

    • @kevincortese7751
      @kevincortese7751  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi Shadab. You can skip the parts about market cap, etc and jump to the technical part in the second half of the video. Use similar settings for longs or the opposite for shorts.

    How to find stocks that recent divergence?

    • @kevincortese7751
      @kevincortese7751  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Typical divergence is usually found by comparing 2 points in price two 2 points on an indictor (ex: price making higher lows, but indicator making lower highs for example). The screen only looks the current point in in time so you’d have to think about how better to define what you would consider divergence. You could go back and examples of when price turns around. For example, if price is below the 20 EMA, what is the range of values of MACD, OBV, RSI, etc. When you have a good range, you can tell the screener to only return values when price is below your chosen moving average and within a certain range of your indicator. Conversely, there are indicators that identify divergences. You can right click on the indicator and set an alert when it gives you a signal.

    Hi, this is one of the best videos I saw about screeners.. its really outstanding, which I first joined Tradingview I though that I can download or subscribe to ready screeners and also ready maid alerts.. can you please guid me on where I can find those?

    • @kevincortese7751
      @kevincortese7751  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks for the feedback! I've only used my own settings. For alerts, those typically come from indicators and not the screener as far as I'm aware. Scroll through these screener indicators and see if there are any you like: www.tradingview.com/scripts/search/screener/page-3/

    Kevin ji, tell me please a method or scanner where I can see a long term (2 to 10 years) target price of any stock easily. Thanks in advance☺

    • @kevincortese7751
      @kevincortese7751  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      What do you mean target price? - as in your take profit 2-10 years down the road or you want to filter for stocks that have been in an uptrend for the last 2-10 years? Scanners are backward looking and not crystal ball prediction machines.

    Sure MACD works well in hindsight but I've seen this thing change direction while in action don't believe it. MACD is a lagging indicator and there in lies its problem

      I agree. I primarily trade ICT and stay away from lagging indicators.
