Adam Savage's One Day Builds: Baby Yoda Mod and Repaint!

Adam is smitten by Sideshow Collectible's life-size replica of The Child (aka Baby Yoda, aka Grogu), and makes the figure even more awesome by modifying it to add posable arms and applying more weathering to the cloak! Follow along this deconstruction of collectible manufacturing and paint application. This project also allows Adam to test Iwata's dual action airbrush, which has been highly recommended in the effects shops we've visited!

After watching the video my thoughts are : You did a great job bringing Baby Yoda more to life . Seeing his body I think he is way,way to over priced for what you get ! He should of been made to be posed from the start . His face blush looks to pink and the inside of his ears also . I think they should of made him more like the colors you see on camera . Rather than like what he looks like off camera . As he is out of the box he is just a manikin for the outfit . Plus all the work you had to do to get the robe to look more aged .At $375 I would expect it to be 100% better than it is . Cheap shinny plastic body not good . I seen others where people put his head on a jointed stuffed body sell for $100 . I think that was a far better deal . Thank you for educating me . I am happy I didn’t buy this as I would be so disappointed . Much thanks for your videos .
