Tobirama is also an amazing sensory type. He didn't have sage mode, but his ability to sense the chakra of others was essentially on par with sage mode's ability to perceive chakra.
Remember Deidara trained his eye to counter sharingan, Zabuza developed a strategy against Kakashi's Sharingan. They weren't normal shinobi but they were using normal methods to overcome it.

@@sahalmaniac3158 I'd imagine it'd be pretty disorienting to disappear, and reappear into a different space. It would be the sharingan providing the reaction time, not the flying raijin. Using the sharingan to register their new surroundings in the split second after they appear would give them an extra advantage. Manga isn't always consistent though, so whether it could or couldn't happen, would ultimately come down to what the writer wants.

Using the sharingan also takes a huge toll on an Uchiha's stamina and Rock Lee said himself that you can predict moves all you want but if your body can't keep up then it won't do you any good. There are also ways of escaping the sharingan genjutsu like using strong emotions like love which is how Sasuke escaped from Itachi's genjutsu and there are weapons in Boruto like flashbangs that can do damage to a person's eyes which can stun them long enough for their opponent to gain an advantage.

Characters with high sensory skills such as Naruto, Hashirama, Juubi's power and other shinobis with Sage of the Six Path's chakra power can sense the attack speed of Flying Raijin's users. For an instance, Madara was able to counter Tobirama and Minato after they used the Flying Raijin. Tobirama wasn't fast enough to strike Madara, and Minato wasn't fast enough to land his Senjutsu Rasengan on Madara. The reason for this is that attack speed is independent of teleportation. Flying Raijin is more useful for avoiding attacks or fleeing from undesirable circumstances, but it is not really effective against shinobis with great sensory skills, high reaction speed, and faster attack speed. @Hiep156 ok, but let's go deeper as in foundation and concepts. How can you exploit a seal weaknesses ? Think very basic concept because it's very simple logic and expand . I'll help you out a bit . All known seals have basic weaknesses. Concept #1 damaging a seal. if damaged, it would not function, i.e., if the ink seal of a paper bomb is washed of it is useless. Same if it's cut ect. Reanimation sealing has those weaknesses as well as we see many different seals being removed in different ways. Concept #2 altering a seal we see orochimaru an jiraiya both alter the 4th hokage seal to do different things. Concept #3 this particular seal is made of pure Chakra so sensory dojutsu should be able to see it like the byakugan, sharingan, rennigan ect meaning they should be able to see all the seals in their range of vision as its just Chakra which then can be countered with various strategies like large scale bombardment to damaged the seals eg. If the seal is on a piece of earth you can destroy that part that is marked you can make the area uninhabitable like burning the battlefield with strong fire attacks narrowing the options or poison ect . Or you can stall with clones an distractions to alter the seals to your advantage but you would need to know about sealing jutsu to do that like oro an jiraiya ect But in general if would take a lot of knowledge an hax like dojutsu to beat

To put it this way, it is possible for a seal to not function, and methods to counter that are to change the shape of the seal or destroy the entire kunai in order to shatter the seal so that it is not complete. So, I definitely agree with the two points of yours. Although, point 3 can be reasonable, but not entirely true. From the point of view, the seal's chakra can only be detected as soon as the user activates it. It is pretty useless to try to locate all the seals across the battefield with Dojutsu such as the Byakugan, Sharingan or Rinnegan if there is no chakra within the seals. However, the kunais consisting of the markings can be countered when activated, and that is when the shinobis with these Dojutsu powers can take actions. Yet, it is still not easy. For example, when Tobirama and Minato used the Flying Thunder God Mutually Instantaneous Revolving Jutsu against Juubito, both of their respective seals activated before they switched places. The same can be applied for the kunais that are covering the battlefield. It requires a high-level of knowledge and skills in order to counter all kunais before the user teleports. Despite of this, it is incredible difficult to counter Hiraishin markings even for God-likes characters. That is why the easiest way to counter Flying Raijin is to force or wait for the Flying Raijin user to attack instead of locating where the Flying Raijin user might teleport to. The opponent requires quicker reaction time, greater sensory skills, and faster attack speed to counter the Flying Raijin user. Not many shinobis possess these powers. Flying Raijin's teleportation is instantaneous, but not the attack itself.
Killer B's fight with Sasuke was another good strategy when he pulled out the 7 swords. He overloaded Sasuke with information, preventing him from predicting his movements and creating openings to attack.

Then it was discovered that Hashirama was actually immune to genjutsu, which explains why he fought the Uchiha so easily
To be fair yes don't look in their eyes, but many of the uchiha were proficient enough in genjutsu that they didn't exactly need their eyes to do it. Itachi is a great example as during the Gaara recovery arc he put naruto under a genjutsu without even using his sharingan.
One of Naruto’s biggest plot holes for me is the fact they say you can’t fight someone without looking in their eyes which is utter bullshit, fighters are taught to look in line with the shoulders. Your opponents eyes aren’t hitting you.

Ok so some things forgotten it seems: 1) to stay out of genjutsu always have more than 1 guy. 2) apparentally have contact lens. It works in boruto. Sasuke cant cast genjutsu on a freaking dog on that series at this point even though he should be able to trap the entire tailed beast family. 3) Tobirama devoloped specific ways to target uchiha and Raijin wasnt the biggest. The best one i can recall are darkness a jutsu that completely clouds vision making it impossible for the sharingan user to see but because their eyes glow in the dark the opponent can still see them. Cause their jutsu is visual they cant even use the sharingan. Reanimation jutsu also is quite unique with the fact that a single genjutsu slip up or fire release wont knock them out and they can just het back. And then there was the hashirama cloning. Then we have the 3 sage forms as well. 4) similar to darkness the hidden mist jutsu also renders the sharingan useless. Refer the first season of og show where Kakuzu uses this against Kakashi
Improving your chakra control also provides you with a counter to their genjutsu and simply being faster means their sharingan is useless- as it has been pointed out, it doesn’t matter if you can predict or read your opponent’s attacks if you aren’t fast enough to act. Just means you know you bout to get clapped lol
Itachi could put people in his Sharingan Genjutsu just by lifting his finger. His Genjutsu ability was so advanced that it was like his whole body became a Sharingan.
Actually in martial arts you don’t look at opponents face as it’s not where the danger is. You look at the point in between shoulders and neck I believe. And during an attack you look at the attack itself. That’s why Itachi has a genjutsu ring I think. So that his kunai attacks could induce a genjustsu

@@sahalmaniac3158 I'd imagine it'd be pretty disorienting to disappear, and reappear into a different space. It would be the sharingan providing the reaction time, not the flying raijin. Using the sharingan to register their new surroundings in the split second after they appear would give them an extra advantage. Manga isn't always consistent though, so whether it could or couldn't happen, would ultimately come down to what the writer wants.

Bro at first fight between Kakashi and Itachi, Kakashi was unaware of Itachi's mangekyo sharingan power, after that in a rematch he made a very good fight against Itachi though it was Itachi's 30% chakra clone , still Kakashi's 30% chakra is drained by sharingan
But it's the sharinga that gives him even a chance against Itachi so giving it 30% of his chakra is better than having 100% chakra with no sharinga.

Yes Might Guy is heavily underrated he literally kept up with and clone of himself in Garras death arc in shippuden then he literally soloed Kisami who has chakra levels of an tailed beast and was in shark form. He also almost killed Madera was able to fight the sharingan by just looking at the opponents feet. He held the 8 gates more than any other shinobi could.

Despite not being one of the strongest in the anime he would obliterate almost anyone. His battle IQ and hax are on another whole lvl. If Gai gets caught in a powerful genjutsu it's over, and don't forget he knows how to "counter" an average sharingan user like Kakashi, not a pro like Itachi. One finger point it's all it takes. Worst case scenario Itachi uses Izanagi or izanami

About "don't look directly into the sharingan", the mention before Itachi surprised me, because he said in Shippuden that he didn't have to look someone in the eye to send him to the sharingan genjutsu, as far as I remember, he said that he could use his ring for this or something like that (when team 7 + Chie met Itachi)

@@bloxy8804 don't remember of anything like that but fourth raikage told Sasuke (about his failure about attempt to cast a genjustsu on him with his eye) my electric armor overload my nervous system so much genjutsu are useless on me so he is able to counter MS genjutsu, maybe not those casted by madara but he's able to counter some MS genjustsu.

Using the sharingan also takes a huge toll on an Uchiha's stamina and Rock Lee said himself that you can predict moves all you want but if your body can't keep up then it won't do you any good. There are also ways of escaping the sharingan genjutsu like using strong emotions like love which is how Sasuke escaped from Itachi's genjutsu and there are weapons in Boruto like flashbangs that can do damage to a person's eyes which can stun them long enough for their opponent to gain an advantage.

Flying Raijin's weakness is not the teleportation itself, but the moment the user attacks the target after using the jutsu.
The attack speed requires incredible reflexes, reaction time, and not least high-speed movements which Tobirama and Minato clearly have, but there are few exceptions.
The moment the user travels to the desired/marking location instantly, the attack speed must be performed at the right moment without the opponent reacting to it.
Characters with high sensory skills such as Naruto, Hashirama, Juubi's power and other shinobis with Sage of the Six Path's chakra power can sense the attack speed of Flying Raijin's users. For an instance, Madara was able to counter Tobirama and Minato after they used the Flying Raijin. Tobirama wasn't fast enough to strike Madara, and Minato wasn't fast enough to land his Senjutsu Rasengan on Madara. The reason for this is that attack speed is independent of teleportation.
Flying Raijin is more useful for avoiding attacks or fleeing from undesirable circumstances, but it is not really effective against shinobis with great sensory skills, high reaction speed, and faster attack speed.
For example, Sasuke's Amenotejikara can be considered more effective against high-sensory shinobis because the attack speed is part of the teleportation, making it seem like he can speed blitz his opponents. The moment Sasuke prepares his attack like Chidori, he can activate the teleportation jutsu while moving his hand towards his target, which makes it more difficult to counter. This is how he managed to attack Juubidara.
However, Flying Raijin is just teleportation with no attack speed.
@Hiep156 ok, but let's go deeper as in foundation and concepts. How can you exploit a seal weaknesses ? Think very basic concept because it's very simple logic and expand . I'll help you out a bit .
All known seals have basic weaknesses.
Concept #1 damaging a seal. if damaged, it would not function, i.e., if the ink seal of a paper bomb is washed of it is useless. Same if it's cut ect.
Reanimation sealing has those weaknesses as well as we see many different seals being removed in different ways.
Concept #2 altering a seal we see orochimaru an jiraiya both alter the 4th hokage seal to do different things.
Concept #3 this particular seal is made of pure Chakra so sensory dojutsu should be able to see it like the byakugan, sharingan, rennigan ect meaning they should be able to see all the seals in their range of vision as its just Chakra which then can be countered with various strategies like large scale bombardment to damaged the seals eg.
If the seal is on a piece of earth you can destroy that part that is marked you can make the area uninhabitable like burning the battlefield with strong fire attacks narrowing the options or poison ect . Or you can stall with clones an distractions to alter the seals to your advantage but you would need to know about sealing jutsu to do that like oro an jiraiya ect
But in general if would take a lot of knowledge an hax like dojutsu to beat

You have a valid point directing towards the marking or seal itself. To put it this way, it is possible for a seal to not function, and methods to counter that are to change the shape of the seal or destroy the entire kunai in order to shatter the seal so that it is not complete. So, I definitely agree with the two points of yours.
Although, point 3 can be reasonable, but not entirely true. From the point of view, the seal's chakra can only be detected as soon as the user activates it. It is pretty useless to try to locate all the seals across the battefield with Dojutsu such as the Byakugan, Sharingan or Rinnegan if there is no chakra within the seals. However, the kunais consisting of the markings can be countered when activated, and that is when the shinobis with these Dojutsu powers can take actions. Yet, it is still not easy.
For example, when Tobirama and Minato used the Flying Thunder God Mutually Instantaneous Revolving Jutsu against Juubito, both of their respective seals activated before they switched places. The same can be applied for the kunais that are covering the battlefield. It requires a high-level of knowledge and skills in order to counter all kunais before the user teleports.
Despite of this, it is incredible difficult to counter Hiraishin markings even for God-likes characters.
That is why the easiest way to counter Flying Raijin is to force or wait for the Flying Raijin user to attack instead of locating where the Flying Raijin user might teleport to. The opponent requires quicker reaction time, greater sensory skills, and faster attack speed to counter the Flying Raijin user. Not many shinobis possess these powers.
Flying Raijin's teleportation is instantaneous, but not the attack itself.
Killer B's fight with Sasuke was another good strategy when he pulled out the 7 swords. He overloaded Sasuke with information, preventing him from predicting his movements and creating openings to attack.

It's just Naruto but predicting someone without looking at their eyes is pretty common. People lie with their eyes all the time. Honestly I think they just wanted to make the Uchihas that more dangerous when this is a common skill in combat sports.
Also, you don't focus on the feet either, it's one of the worst places to focus your attention.

Tobirama is a natural counter for the Uchiha, just imagine all the jutsu he created and developed just to fight the Uchiha, from flying rijin to kagebunshin, he created it all to make it easier for him to fight the Uchiha, don't forget the water element he also developed to counter the fire element. uchiha.
Then it was discovered that Hashirama was actually immune to genjutsu, which explains why he fought the Uchiha so easily
To be fair yes don't look in their eyes, but many of the uchiha were proficient enough in genjutsu that they didn't exactly need their eyes to do it. Itachi is a great example as during the Gaara recovery arc he put naruto under a genjutsu without even using his sharingan.
One of Naruto’s biggest plot holes for me is the fact they say you can’t fight someone without looking in their eyes which is utter bullshit, fighters are taught to look in line with the shoulders. Your opponents eyes aren’t hitting you.
People saying guy is overrated, they forgot about when he killed kisame, considered as strong as a tailed beast ALONE and also with the weakness of saving his students from kisame's attacks.

Deidara was another person who was able to counter attack the Sharingan. He realized if you had one eye cover you can counter the genjitsu and see through the illusion.

Am I the only one who thinks that the Sharingan is slept on? The whole clan mastered every form of weapon and could copy jutsu/forms with ease. They were a literal army of jack-of-all-trades masters of all 💀

Ok so some things forgotten it seems:
1) to stay out of genjutsu always have more than 1 guy.
2) apparentally have contact lens. It works in boruto. Sasuke cant cast genjutsu on a freaking dog on that series at this point even though he should be able to trap the entire tailed beast family.
3) Tobirama devoloped specific ways to target uchiha and Raijin wasnt the biggest. The best one i can recall are darkness a jutsu that completely clouds vision making it impossible for the sharingan user to see but because their eyes glow in the dark the opponent can still see them. Cause their jutsu is visual they cant even use the sharingan. Reanimation jutsu also is quite unique with the fact that a single genjutsu slip up or fire release wont knock them out and they can just het back. And then there was the hashirama cloning. Then we have the 3 sage forms as well.
4) similar to darkness the hidden mist jutsu also renders the sharingan useless. Refer the first season of og show where Kakuzu uses this against Kakashi

Improving your chakra control also provides you with a counter to their genjutsu and simply being faster means their sharingan is useless- as it has been pointed out, it doesn’t matter if you can predict or read your opponent’s attacks if you aren’t fast enough to act. Just means you know you bout to get clapped lol

Itachi could put people in his Sharingan Genjutsu just by lifting his finger. His Genjutsu ability was so advanced that it was like his whole body became a Sharingan.
Actually in martial arts you don’t look at opponents face as it’s not where the danger is. You look at the point in between shoulders and neck I believe. And during an attack you look at the attack itself.
That’s why Itachi has a genjutsu ring I think. So that his kunai attacks could induce a genjustsu

As far as i am aware, when doing combat sports your told to look at the center of the chest to get a view of their arms and legs in your peripheral ,since an opponents face and eyes arent going to hit you. Headbutts exlcuded
