You do a marvelous job of speaking english and I clearly understand what ever you explain. I kinda wish I had learned other languages so I could travel and make the most of learning from others. I don't think that the world has seen the last of Donn and have it in my head that is the english version of your full name. If I could of only grew up on your block... I have you hooked on age as i am 73 and the difference mentally is the same as you display thinking of a much older person. Thats a good thing I do believe, intended to mean anyway. I watched your neighbor build his tiny mobile house and its quite the structure... some of his knowledge came from you as instructor I do believe!!
I watch you from Russia, from Moscow, I like your videos. I like your hard work, perseverance and attitude. I wish you all the best, success and good luck. It turned out to be a good room. In general, the only problem is the roof of the entire room, it would be nice to change it. I think in time you will master this too. Thank you for the interesting content.
Donn DIY yes I really enjoy your videos really quality workmanship 👍🏼. Today it’s REALLY HARD to find people who take pride in what they produce. Great videos!
An estingusher i think it's needed because you have 4/5 walls (3/5 in the future) that are made of wood and the plasma cutter may produce some sparks i think....Very great work! In wood walls you are expert...
Here in Brazil we cannot use this type of construction. the climate favors the proliferation of termites and fungi, which rot this type of wood in a few months. if we could use these techniques it would make our lives much easier, and would greatly lower the cost of construction. here we basically use masonry, concrete and metal. Congratulations on the content of your channel. My Brazilian friends and I liked it a lot. Come and see our workshops. Maybe one day we will have a beer together and talk about tools and projects!
Man that’s painful to watch someone work alone when hanging overhead materials. Just want to give the man a hand to make life a little easier for him. Great video Donny!
Отличное трудолюбие и чувство вкуса, локация выглядит просто великолепно. Но, здесь будет плазма, и если не делать вытяжку, а резать просто в воду, там всё покроется копотью очень быстро. Лайк и пожелание успеха. Спасибо.
Well done! I have some beer cans for you 😃. It means I can come and check your workshop again and your new builds. It's inspiring to see all that. Keep it going! Cheers! 🍻
Great job, very interesting how you achieved the result by your self. Of note too me was the use of a jig saw instead of a circular saw & no glue in your but jointed timber frames. One last think, want the room be a little small to work in.
That's a mitty fine work you there Son. You gotta get yourself a chalk line ! They sure make a straight line easy ! Glad to see your staying safe lin all this stuff in the world today. Keep showing us the goods your making. Also keep up the great work you do . AWESOME! If I wasn't 10k + away from ya. I'd be dang sure to give pat on the back. For all good work and re-use of items. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🤔🤗 THANKS for the view of your world.
Great job 😊 I have been watching every episode of yours with great pleasure for over a year. I like your precision and enthusiasm in carrying out your work. Greetings from Poland ☺
You beat me to it. Was going to point that out too but wanted to make sure no one else had already. Nothing worse than someone pointing out something that’s already been pointed out once or more.
Wayne Crews yea.... for Sure... he is such a smart guy and has built some amazing things. Yet missed that area on accident. Going to be hard to take his work serious after that mistake.
Just found you. Really like the vids I've seen so far. It's such a struggle doing stuff on your own when an extra set of hands would come in useful. However, you adapt and overcome and get there anyway :) Great work. Thank you.
You should have used a plastic vapour barrier on the inside and covered the insulation before sheathing the walls and ceiling. SInce warm always moves to cold, you will have trouble with warm moist air traveling to the outside. As a result, your insulation with become waterlogged when the moisture in the warm air condenses as it encounters the cold outer air. Once the insulation contains ice the insulation value goes down. As the cycle reoccurs eventually you will have little to no insulation value at all. When insulation becomes wet, there is also the possibility of getting black mold inside your walls and ceiling which will present a health hazard to anyone working in the area. The only insulations that do not require a vapour barrier are non absorbent types of plastic or glass foam and rigid types like calcium silicate.
Your a smart guy but I would suggest if possible a leak could be issue from the above ceiling. Might be a good idea to cover with plastic or other water barrier. Osb doesn't last long when wet
With the previous and this episode again turned something messy into pure gold. Wonder whats going to happen with the not painted spot on the back wall.. maybe an access towards the workshop? Added you a pledge in Patreon, as I am really enjoying your craftmanskills! Keep doing such great content!
I was wondering that too. At first I was thinking it will be an area for a control panel but he built the computer station already and he likely would have painted it except if he’s cutting it out. Good thing we aren’t cats because curiosity would get us.
Old painters trick is to mix in a cup of regular sand into a gallon of paint so the floor won't be slippery when wet. You can't even see it and it works. But either way, without at least a concrete floor, that things gonna burn down your barn there.
Glad to see you had the proper PPE on, mister. That OSB dust could have u sneezing a gachoo-zillion days from now without the mask duty. It's not just for COVID anymore. HA.

I’m sometimes confused by your choice of tool. For example, cutting the big boards would make more sense on a table saw. They’re cheap and you have room...?
It's just an old farm jack. They were mostly used on tractors in the old days. And why not today aswell. I live in finland and we have plenty of those laying around.
I loved the video as usual there are to many people on here that do short videos i prefer the longer ones 👍🏼 can i ask why you left the wall at the back not painted is it for an electricity box ?
@@byeboer3279 I agree, although it does depend upon how the Lego was played with. I was very much into self created models and only occasionally built things as per the plans, whereas my teenage son is almost totally into building models as per the plans.

I don’t know how often you renovate but a airless sprayer does great for the painting part, especially for brick and stone. Great job 👍🏼
Yeah, I thought so too about the airless sprayer. But I do not do this that often. Thanks for watching! I appreciate it.

This is DIYBYS, "Do It Yourself, By Your Self". I do it every day!!
The use of the foot-operated diagonal plank is genius.
Yes, and the head, the feet, legs, arm and hands are "all hands on deck", or something like that. Been there on most of my DIYBYS.
A chalk line and your circular saw will make quick work of cutting that OSB.
Oh and by the way 2:55 you need to get that tuned.

does he have covid :/

I still maintain that you need to get yourself a table saw and a miter/chop saw. You'd save yourself SO much time and effort!
Yeah, might be.
Seeing this place grow and come to life is satisfying to watch, I can already imagine how it is in few years! 👍👍
Let's hope I can raise enough funds to remodel the complete barn building. That's my dream. 🤘
Turned out nice. Next task: Getting the funds for the costly electrical stuff, heater and air supply plumbing. 👍🏻
Electrical will come, yeah.
Love that jack you used to raise ceiling panels.

Great job as always just one thing.Whats the purpose of isolate the ceiling and the inner wall if you don't isolate the outer wall ?
My assumption it looks good, and for electrical wiring and insulation from the rest of the barn I guess sound and thermals.
