However, in the example provided, you performed the lookup on the country code, which was a direct match between the input file and the lookup file. What if I need to look for a value, compare that value with a range (as you mentioned in the salary example), and perform the lookup based on that range? is there a way to do that in NiFi? or do we need scripting for that? I know it's been a long time since you posted this video, but I would appreciate your advice.

Yes, it can be done, with a custom program. Program can be called with executescript processor.
