Pick up the Leatt 7.5 FlowTour Jacket from RevZilla! rvz.la/4crDKY8
I have the flowtour set, and used it for my BDR X loop last month. It was well into the 90's for most of the trip, and this set did amazingly well. Flows a tremendous amount of air, and it is quite comfortable. With all of its armor, it is a little on the heavy side, but not terribly. I will recommend to size up though. I ordered the XL going by the size chart, and couldn't get the zipper together.
Looked at this at ADV Fest, I really like it. Next jacket for sure.
Do a 7.5 multitour review!
There's also a second waterproof pouch in the back, directly behind the mesh pocket
love this jacket. L fits great everywhere but sleeves (not uncommon at 6'3" & 190 lbs) - leatt gauntlet gloves mitigate this well. id say this jacket feels more almost bulky rather than heavy. i mean almost bulky because i feel the jacket when i zip up but tbh the jacket kinda fades away as i ride. maybe the airflow is a pleasant distraction from the inland socal heat but its a very unobtrusive piece of kit (ce level 2 too)
edit: i dont use the liner
I was wondering if buying the flowtour and adding a thermal jacket would do the job of the multi tour. I quite like the fact of hyper ventilation of the flowtour
That's what I plan on doing, will let you know how it works out. You'd also need to wear the waterproof layer on the outside, to prevent thermal wicking from saturated mesh
Thank god it’s not black. Never understand summer gear in black
ADV gear styling is very similar to RV's Please stop with the frumpy styling. Never understood which focus group says these colorways and a gazillion pockets look good.
Pockets are your friend on a long tour
@@ehiggins7476 That's what my tank bag and other accessories are for. I don't like things in my pockets when riding because if I go down those are things that can hurt me.
That protein bar and pack of gum can sure cause a lot of damage
@@ehiggins7476 how short is a "long tour" for you that you are only carrying a protein bar and a pack of gum and have nowhere else to put them?
who wears ugly jackets like this regularly?
Me
ditto
Frumpy people. The styling is left to be desired.
most of the ADV crowd. It's very functional
Must not notice the garbage sport bike guys wear all the time.
