No question about this, pilipino's are so into looks, on the physical apperance which is very disappointing. Not that john mark has not looks but we know mas gugustuhin ng mga tao ang babae.
The reason why guys are having a hard time winning singing competitions is... majority ng mga nanunuod and nag e effort to vote sa gantong bagay are girls... which is most of tje time ka gender nila ang vino vote nila instead of kung sino ang deserving.
Actually John mark won on judges voting, it's just the madlang people who didn't choose him.

Just an explanation po not to argue but to explain my thought po hehe. The outfit was not a part of the criteria, and I personally think na hindi yun yung nagpatalo sa kanya and i think hindi po siya natalo sa kompetisyon na ito kasi:
- Malaya na siya sa pagkanta, wala nang walls o kahit anong humahadlang sa pagkanta niya.
- Mahina yung chance niya na makapasok sa Top 3 sa madlang people yet nagawa niya.
- Lumakas yung fanbase niya sa araw ng grand finals because of his voice and the way he interprets and put his emotion in the songs.
- Siya yung highest sa boto ng judges.
- At isa pa, the contestants were very friendly to one another. Wala kang mafifeel na may matatalo sa kanila.
- Lastly, hindi po siya talo kasi start pa lang ito ng madaming achievements ni John Mark.
I hate it that both John Mark and Elaine joined in the same season. I'm rooting both of them! :'(
But they made a history for being the best tnt grand finalists. I mean look if Saga wasn't there, Elaine can easily wipe out all the other contestants.
