i was looking at getting a kona unit just for the winter, but budget fat bikes are cheaper and fit more tire. then i decided that it is up to the government to provide roads which are cyclable and I am not going to get a better bike because the gov refuses to maintain the roads.
Super cool. Where I live we only have a week or two a year where there's any 'winter weather' like this. I bike to work, and to me my 3 mile commute felt like it was a 45 minute commute like yours. How far is your commute? Great video
Im officially out of excuses
I’m down here in CT using the cold weather as an excuse to not ride while you’re pedaling in through snow banks. Nice video, stay safe out there.
I just recently bought my first MTB. I plan on biking to work too, one day, for fun. It's 46 km away.
Buy some MTB slicks and you can ride pretty fast.
I also ride with studded 4.6 cake eaters. Nice tires and pretty darn fast
Surly Ice Cream Truck on an icy road sounds like a good match :)
Yeah but it got warm now. A couple days above freezing and a lot has melted.

Kona Unit would make a decent winter bike. 30mm wide rims with 2.6 or 2.8 tires would be decent in the snow.

I have a few different enjoyable routes I can take. Was 10.73 km that morning.
This is bleak. But cool.
being from south texas this looks miserable LOL!
What do you do for work? See you got a -80 freezer in there. Nice ride.
