- LA County has launched its latest plan to fight an invasive mosquito species by using what may seem like a counter-intuitive strategy. Gio Insignares reports.

If they're going to use mosquitoes to fight mosquitoes, why not use the elephant mosquito? The larva of the elephant mosquitoes eat the larva of the other mosquitoes, and the female elephant mosquitoes don't feed on blood.
Because it was less profitable.
