I would like an update on this tank. I just set up a similar style tank in my classroom at school. Interested to hear how it is going.

I hope it goes better than my tank I think I have a mix of ich, velvet, gha, and aiptasia. I lost 15/16 fish and all corals plus most inverts. I have to start dipping frags I guess.

Hi Alessio -- Yes. I've been there. Dipping and quarantining are a pain -- but it works.

I have 4 peppermint shrimp with a Skunk cleaner and I have not seen all 4 peppermint at once for about 3 weeks so I feel like they are just hiding but who knows.

Is it safe to have that many shrimp and inverts together? Won't most kill each other eventually with that many? Plus I thought the gobies would kill each other but after seeing my uncles tank I doubt they will.

I've been watching for aggression with the idea of moving anything that looks to be in danger. After 2 months + all is good!

I’m curious if this tank is still running? If so what worked and what didn’t?

My go to is Xtreme pellets. They ae great for cichlids. They come in different sizes depending upon the age of the fish!

Thanks for the heads up. I read about this taking place in a few different places. How long did it take for that to happen?
