Was at this show and it was my 10th or 11th Blind Melon show and sadly my last. I had met Shannon a few times when he and his girlfriend were staying in Chicago as well as met him and Rogers a few hours before the show down the street at the Gingerman tavern....couldn't have been a nicer more down to earth guy. The night of this show he definitely seemed exhausted and I was surprised that they put on such an amazing show. I have seen hundreds of shows from Zeppelin to Kiss to Priest to Black Flag to Bow Wow Wow to G 'n R to RATM....Soundgarden....Neil Young.....The Zombies etc.etc. etc.....and Blind Melon were easily one of the greatest live bands I have ever seen. Every show was solid....each show was very different and unique and they were totally just locked into each other. The world lost a truly amazing talent when Shannon left us. Great music....Great Memories
The sad thing is every review of Blind Melon’s work turns into a eulogy but I really, really think people underestimate how talented Shannon was and how talented the band was. I envisioned BM riding out the 90’s and becoming a critically acclaimed and well established band like the Chili Peppers, or Metallica, etc sticking around decade after decade. They were that good and had the capacity to be that enduring and that great.
Glen is killing it man. Love this live version. They all were in the pocket. God bless Shannon and all the guys. Travis had some huge shoes to fill. He fits those shoes perfectly.
Travis is a few sizes.smaller than Shannon . This band is not blind melon without Shannon . The band is amazing and Shannon's raw talent could shine with these gents . Travis is much too rehearsed and polished to fill Shannon's shoes . Shannon just had that rare "it" factor nobody can seem to find in a frontman anymore .
...SONG OF THE DAY!!!
I miss Shannon so much and I never knew him. He died the same year I was born. He's one of the few musicians that actually touched my soul and made an impact on my life. Him and Blind Melon. Such a shame that Brad isn't in the band anymore. I wish I could see them
This is such an underrated song. His untimely death only adds to the mystique of what the track represents...clear influence from Pixies. But it’s so truly unique and theirs. Amazing quality video too! Thanks for sharing
His stage presence was insane. Amazing.

One of the BEST voices ever. 🙌🥰💔
Great song.
Sounds exactly like how he sings in the studio. Even the harmonies are perfect. Wow.
Shannon’s voice was so uniquely eerie. Can’t turn it up loud enough. So sad the drugs overtook him. Incredible talent gone!
Soup album by blind melon is a master piece !! Cannot deny the genius musical compositions these amazing musicians created together..

Pixies blow, please don't compare them to BM after watching this.
@@mattdumas5257Yeah an entire album of genre staples is fucking awful. Nailed it, bud
Pure grunge
Though you may be ash and bones nowadays, im grateful that once a true artist existed once upon a time.
Shannon, you were one bad mofo
Fodastico!
Blistering performance.
Please please PM me for the full concert.
Sorry can't
I think this song is amazing, but live is not well performed, weak band!!!

Maybe you're just a bad listener 🤷♂️
