I was thinking it could be interesting, in these cases, considering even the total of the points. I'm not judging who won this battle, but if the rounds were 2 to Nord Diamond and 1 to Wigor the points are 7 to ND and 8 to W, so considering the total preferences Wigor should be the winner. In worst cases, if 2 rounds in a battle were win 3on2 and 1 lost 5on0 the total points for the winners are 6 and the points of the losers are 9. Should the events creators consider that? Just thinking.
No they should not. Because the closeness in rounds is not taken into consideration. Also this way, judges that favor one style far above the other also have a stronger vote that way in close battles. Adding up totals would work if all the judges score the exact same way. But that is an unrealistic expectation... That is why there is round by round judging, and the one with the most votes wins. An alternative is to add up the score difference per round for each judge and give one vote at the end of the battle.
wigors first round was short but i would still have given it to him based on flow musicality and dynamics. Nord looked like he slipped up or atleast executed poorly when he was transitioning freezes at the end. Either way both cats are ill.
@@truebaa his style is classic flow and he does sets already planned . He does change them around a bit here and their. He may step outside his style in the future and do more free movements.
@@JuJu-cz4kr He didn't get smoked 1st to Nord 2nd to Wigor. 3rd Wigor could have taken it if he wasn't doing so many Zulu spins. All he needed was a freeze or 2 and change his levels or a bit of power and he would have got this. Nice flow tho and will learn from the battle.

Another top level battle. What Wigor did to end round 2 was beautiful, but Nord is one of the hottest young guns in the scene.
