Jungkook Is a sub rapper. He used to rap alot in older songs. Boy in luv is from 2014. N also the suits are meant to be school boy uniforms. BTS are hip hop based. So their older songs are very rap focused
also there's a performance you can find of the vocal line rapping their song 'ddaeng' and jk's part just gives me goosebumps and i 10/10 recomend watching that too!
@@MTetzke right?!?! i was so happy for him! you know it was such a dream come true for him. can you imagine real quick if we got another tony montana type of thing where this time, yoongi brought out tae?! that boy (and us lol) would ASCEND! haha 💜
This makes me mad. He just revealed that he actually didn't really pay attention while he do the reaction video of "Who is BTS?: The 7 Members of Bangtan"
Lol Jin said on weverse that they were wearing school uniforms for the Boy in Luv part, but they looked like office workers now that they're a bit older
Yes Persona is all RM and he's been chompin at the bit to perform it live all year. Boy in Luv and Boy with Luv are counterparts much like Save Me and I'm Fine that's why the titles are actually great. Man, you have to go back to the roots. Like Dark and Wild, R U L8 2?, 2 cool 4 skool and all that. Wait for Mikrokosmos and Dionysus. I cried. I was shaking. I almost fainted. Lol
Dark & Wild is my favorite BTS album! I would LOVE it if he would do an album review/listening party of sorts. I’d watch the whole thing from start to finish. 😊💜
oh you think this was good... wait till Dionysus part comes and knocks your socks off :D I dont know where they will go after that they threw everything into it... it was amazing and crazy
Lol I thought their MMA 2018 performance was amazing and impossible to top, but then this came around. I'm willing to bet it will be even more insane next year.
@@nerasomniait was really one of those everything and the kitchen sink moments... and they still managed to make it work thats what im most amazed by :)
First of all - thank you for re-scheduling and adding MMA performance to your reaction! ARMY going crazy about it right now :) Second - I really enjoy they way you react and comment for those videos, it is very easy to feel like we are together discovering things even thought I already watched MMA performance. About songs: "Boy In Luv" and "Boy With Luv" are connected - first one was from 2014 if I remember correctly. The songs show two different perspectives of falling in love and loving someone. First one is more about intensity of the feelings and about not knowing exactly what to do with those emotions - struggles of young and immature love I think. The MV for this song was set in high-school setting. The second one (with alternative title: "a poem for the small things") is about the fact that when you love someone you care about all the small, daily things they do, that this kind of love doesn't confuse you but give you strength to reach higher and higher. "Persona" is intro song for their last album. Please, check out the lyrics and maybe some explanation video - in this one RM is very insightful - this is beginning of their new series which is based on book "Jung's Map of The Soul" and is more about self discovery and understanding who you are.
Yeah, that is Jungkook rapping in Boy in Luv. He used to do that in the earlier albums, where they still focused more on Hip Hop! About the name boy in/with love: It's to show their growth. They made boy in love several years back, where they were still making music as high schoolers, where getting the girl and having crushes were 'the most important thing'. Boy with love is after their love yourself campaign and is meant to show that you can only love another by also loving yourself. It's evolved. The guitar in the backtrack is most likely a live recording. Last year, one of the producers shared a video on his instagram of him and 2(?) others recording the backtrack to another livestage. The track that reminded you of a disney song was a snippet of another song they had, "Intro: What am I to you" which was on the Album Dark&Wild and also performed by RM. It is actually my favorite Intro song so I was very excited when it started playing. You're gonna hear and see snippets of a lot more songs in the next part of their performance. I'm excited, you're gonna be blown away :D
Yes, Intro:Persona is a solo by RM that introduces their most recent album. The lyrics and MV are amazing. You definitely have to put it on your list! Seriously. Lyrics are amazing! 💜☂️
I can't wait for the rest of it. You have no idea how lit it is! They pretty much made a tribute to each album, just like Army recently recharted their entire discography back to Billboard! Also, I have a list of their old songs to recommend!😉 💜☂️
Their Persona album makes a ton of references to their older stuff. It's basically a tribute to their own history. The song Persona also samples their old song Skool Luv Affair. The song between Persona and Boy In Luv is actually another RM solo (What Am I To You - they only played a small part). The hand gesture at the end of Boy In Luv and Boy With Luv is a gun (I think you already know their name means Bulletproof Boyscouts) and they used to used that gesture when they introduced themselves but eventually they dropped it.
OMG wait until you see the second half. I didn't think they could ever top last year's performance, but this is epic. There are so many older songs mixed in. I wish you knew all of these songs.
Dionysus from the comeback show nearly made you have a seizure... then this Dionysus is guaranteed to give you multiple seizures and a heart attack 😔 rip.. you'll be missed 🤧
They are very theatrical........ you haven’t seen anything yet. Your part 2 will be amazing. It is like there is an award show in a BTS mini concert. There were other groups as well and they were very good but BTS is on another planet when it comes to performing and putting on a show. It is a credit to Bighit that they put money(a lot of money ) into their performances and concerts along with buckets of creativity and support. I have been waiting for the award season to begin in Korea and it certainly when off with a show stopper. Also looking forward to their new album. We are very well fed by BTS.
RM's part in the beginning is a recreation of the MV/comeback Trailer for the most recent album. You should definitely watch that one, it's incredible. (BTS (방탄소년단) MAP OF THE SOUL : PERSONA 'Persona' Comeback Trailer) Boy in luv is an older song that was released in the earlier time of their career and once they got big outside of Korea, they were criticized for both the lyrics and MV for that song (for having sexist imagery/undertones - that was the argument, if I remember correctly) it was a whole situation, they apologized and as far as I heard, RM now consults a professor (an expert on the issue) when it comes to certain lyrics and imagery (no clue if that is 100% accurate, I just saw a bunch of ARMY say that) Btw back in those days Jungkook was rapping a lot more... he's the golden maknae for a reason :D
I'm 49,been to more concerts than I can even remember and so many different kinds of music (I listen to everything but metal is my fav) but I gotta say the best and most fun concerts I've ever been to is bts.....and that's including show from the 80s....u need to go to a bts concert they are the best!!!💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
About their flow, maybe it has something to do with their native accents? They have a song the satoori Rap, where they brag about their respective dialects (satoori), and RM says that his, Ilsan's, is "the only one that goes well with English". Suga's Daegu satoori and J-Hope's Jeollado have very distinctive patterns.
In 2014, the intro to Boy in Luv was the instrumental of Persona. In 2019, Persona is the intro to Boy With Luv. 2019 is a call back to 2014. It's how they've grown into men and have a deeper understanding of what love is.

I love the old songs so much! I mean Boy in luv is only one of them. There is of course No more dream, just one day, danger and so one... But my all time favorite is N.O because of the lyrics, dance combination XD Please keep on reacting to BTS! It's so fun to watch! But how about treating to more old music videos, there are some kinda compilations (the change of BTS from 2013 to 2019), stuff like that :D
I cried watching this performance because I saw the old songs and then the new and it just brought me back to all the obstacles they faced and over came all the hate and criticism and now the love and support and they did it all together never leaving each other’s side and when they won all the awards omg it just hit hard like I bet it did every army
😄 Yes, wasn't it nice that all those people showed up to the BTS show? It was an amazing performance and after this you really have to watch last years MMA performance. It's truly iconic, as are many of their performances. Nobody is doing it like BTS. Can't wait for the 2nd part. 👍 Link for 2018 MMA th-cam.com/video/QxVXzNwnK9s/w-d-xo.html Oh, and check out the Persona trailer video. It has subs as well. RM talks about the different personas that he has. I think you'll love it.
I just got home from wok and this is the first video I see in my subscriptions. Made my day 🥰🥰 I watched this live and let me tell you it was fucking wild. I'm so excited for tomorrows video!!! They always but on an incredible performance for the awards shows. Last years MMA stage is probably my absolute favourite of theirs. RM goes so hard in this with his cute little blond mullet. And holy shit you should see pictures of J-Hope from the red carpet. I honestly did not recognise him, I kept counting the members to make sure there were seven and being confused when there was someone standing with them until I realised it was J-Hope and then I lost my mind. That wasn't the J-Hope we know and love, that was Jay who usually only comes out in the US. Boy In Luv is from their album Skool Luv Affair from 2014, it was their second mini album and the last in what's called the "Skool Trilogy", the first two are 2 Cool 4 Skool and ORUL8,2?. Their debut song No More Dream from 2 Cool 4 Skool, N.O and Satoori Rap from ORUL8,2?, Tomorrow from Skool Luv Affair, and Danger and Let Me Know from Dark & Wild are some of their older songs that I recommend listening to. These came out when they were a more hip hop focused group up until their album HYYH pt 1 from 2015 where they were a bit softer and a little more kpop sounding. You could listen to them chronologically from debut going forwards to really see how their sound has changed. You'll hear Jungkook rapping a lot more in these albums. I'm excited to see you watch the vocal line songs! It really helps with being able to recognise and differentiate the members visually if you know who is singing when. I'll keep this short! See you tomorrow, I hope you have a good day/evening!!! Annyeong 💜💜💜
You were actually right when you noticed RM has a different accent than the other rappers! Actually, all the members are from different parts of Korea and have their own accents that come through sometimes. They actually wrote a song about this called "Satoori Rap" and there's a video by DKDKTV that explains the song and all their different accents [BTS-Paldogangsan (satoori rap) explained by a Korean]. Its actually really interesting and once you listen to them speak/sing/rap enough, you can start to hear when they fall back into their native accents! I definitely recommend checking out that song and the explained video.
Just wait, this was just the appetizer. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜. They are so amazing but especially live.... can you imagine if the US awards shows would give them the stage of this magnitude? Our artists wouldn’t want to perform after, let’s just say it like it is. These guys know how to perform 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜. Waiting for part 2!
Wait I'm confused 😳 I thought it landed on the stage? Jimin hit it with his foot during his introduction solo dance when he was on his knees doing that spinning thing. Was that a different rose?
I may have died a bit this morning when I saw it. I'll probably watch it a hundred more times. Love your reactions. They all killed this performance. 💜💜💜💜
Boy *in* Luv is an earlier track from their more heavily hiphop influenced albums. During this time, they were still finding their voice, and received quite harsh criticism (mostly from haters hyperbolizing the situation) for being sexist and mysogynistic. Boy *in* Luv has an alternate title in Korean which is *sangnamja.* This translates as a slang version (used by young people) as "manly man." As BTS got older, and matured, they took a lot of the criticism to heart and read up about women's issues, cultural appropriation, etc. Boy *With* Luv is a response to Boy *in* Luv. It shows how they view women as a partner (as can be seen with Halsey singing and dancing *with* them in the MV) as opposed to an object to be pursued (as can be seen w/ the unnamed girl in the Boy in Luv MV). Boy *With* Luv also has an alternate Korean title which translates to "a poem for small things" in which they express that love can often be seen in the little moments in life (asking about how one's day is, thinking about a person while driving somewhere, etc.).
I love love love their older albums because of the hip hop and rnb focus, this song boy in luv was from their first era (called school era consisting of three minialbums)
If you liked Boy in Love you should watch, No More Dream, N.O., Danger, War of Hormone... These are some of their earlier Songs where they were more hiphop tracks Similar to Boy in Luv. I really like your reactions.
And you should check the mv for Persona, Boy in Luv and Boy With Love. Also, if you really pay attention to the vocal line you’ll see that V has the deepest voice of all of them. Also, Jungkook used to rap in old songs, Boy In Luv is a song from 2014 💜
IT's fun to watch you enjoy them! Boy with Luv was also the first song/ video I saw from them. I am a long time Halsey fan. Fell in love with Vs blue hair and hooked on all of BTS since !
Haha, J-Hope continues to bias-wreck the universe. This was such a fun, fast reaction. I think you should add "Persona" to your list of reactions, this performance re-creates a lot of the video, and I think you'd dig it. "Boy with Luv" and "Boy in Luv" have a strong connection, BIL was an early song (like, 2014, they're actual babies) which was almost silly in how much they were trying to be "bad boys", but the performance now is just so slick and effortless. You can see how they've grown up, especially in their vocals (V and Jin especially sound so good now, with their deeper voices). BWL is their answer to BIL, using a lot of references in the lyrics and choreography, conveying more softness and optimism instead of trying to be all macho. As mentioned, yes, Jungkook used to do more rapping. I loved this entire performance. RM was amazing in this performance, but honestly, each one of them impressed with moments (especially the solo bits that you'll get to in part 2). V's growly metal rasp and that combined note at 7:50, YES. Have you seriously not heard Halsey before? I'm just surprised because her music is in a lot of mainstream stuff - "Castle", "Colors", "Without Me", and her work on "Closer" with the Chainsmokers. I think you'd like her.
The Guy with the rose is Seokjin AKA Jin, the oldest member. He jokes around about being worldwide handsome, his voice is incredible and you have to consider that he got scouted for his looks and he never really sang before BTS. Pls listen to his solo song epiphany :)
Your next video you will be blown away it gets better as the show goes on, these boys killed it and then some! I hope you can do more of their older songs like No More Dreams, We Are Bullet Proof or Dope all great songs to react to. Can’t wait to see the next video it’ll be amazing!
You got that part with the staring in the camera!!! And I can’t wait to see your face for the next part!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 be prepared to be amazed!! I was like this😱 for everything 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Holy shit my dude you think that was cinematic, I cannot wait for your reaction to the second part. Holy shit. I saw your reaction come up and went to go watch the performance right before this and I'm still not over it. I'll never be over it. And yeah that was Jungkook rapping lmao, he used to do that a lot in their older songs. Truly the golden maknae. I think he raps more than J-Hope in their debut song. You definitely need to react to the video for No More Dreams at some point. You'll love the song, and the video is kinda hilarious looking back. Babies trying to be bad boys XD
Did you see their whole MMA performance? Trust me... Those 30 or so minutes are so worth it... I was screaming the whole time I watched it live. Jesus fckigbs chriatejsk. If yoi watch it you should check out their amazing MMA 2018 performance too.
Love love LOVE RM's hair. Pleeeeze react to Boy In Luv dance practice. I DID recommend it earlier. (no one notices me ever...sniff). Oh wow, V's hair should always be black.
there is something that's really hot about them performing this song now that they're all mature and shit. I'm scared that i will go straight for them tbh
He has an earlier intro song that has a similar vibe (art, beat track and all) that he brought back for this with the hints for their next album. In the 1st vc, you didn't show the whole part but there are shadows of themselves walking and that's the theory for their next album name.
Hello! You can react to old songs like: Tomorrow, Rain, My city, Butterfly. you can speak Spanish??😍 We wait for the second part. Greetings from Mexico city😊😊💜💜💜
It is one of their older songs, and not a lot of new armys are quite familiar with their older songs, which may be why it wasn't as heavily recommended. If you enjoy this song, I suggest watching the mvs from their first couple of years after debut. 😊
Boy In Love is one of their earlier songs, more hip hop and more rap parts. Jungkook were rapping back then. The problem with BTS is that they have so many good stuffs its really hard to get to all of them in a short time. Lol
For me was easy to know who was who once that I took the time to identify their voices...in a couple of day I got them. It was easier that trying to be updated with hair colors
Could react to TXT (tomorrow by together) in the MMA 2019, it is the sister group of BTS, (they are like their little brothers), they debuted this year.
I literally started hyperventilating on Dianysus. Like boys, please never chill. Kill me already. 😂 That said, please make sure to breathe when you get there. Boy with Love is a sort of continuation to Boy in Love, so that's the logic behind naming them so similar 💜

A girl on Twitter actually got the rose jin threw into the air. 🥰😂💜
Wait I'm confused 😳 I thought it landed on the stage? Jimin hit it with his foot during his introduction solo dance when he was on his knees doing that spinning thing. Was that a different rose?
@@nocreativity7769 no it was the same rose. They were saying goodbye to the audience and he took the rose again and threw it to her.
I may have died a bit this morning when I saw it. I'll probably watch it a hundred more times. Love your reactions. They all killed this performance. 💜💜💜💜
JUNGKOOK OMG Voice 💜
You won’t believe the second part
We love rapper Jungkook, miss him so much, love the more hip hop side of BTS
I thought last year's MMA performance was amazing but this knocked it down and out! So good! :)
I love love love their older albums because of the hip hop and rnb focus, this song boy in luv was from their first era (called school era consisting of three minialbums)
you should also check out these others by BTS:
No More Dream
N.O
Not Today
Danger
I'm kinda new to your bts reactions but their old music is where it's at, man. Hip hop and rock influences in a lot of it!
If you liked Boy in Love you should watch, No More Dream, N.O., Danger, War of Hormone... These are some of their earlier Songs where they were more hiphop tracks Similar to Boy in Luv. I really like your reactions.
This was a warm up.. just wait, looking forward to your next reaction to this!!!
"it's as if this is their show and nobody else's" . You got that right my friend, it was their show
This performance was amazing!! And it gets better, I almost cried when they sang Mikrokosmos 💜
Yes .. this MMA 2019 - our BTS burn the stage, Iconic and spectacular every time!
And you should check the mv for Persona, Boy in Luv and Boy With Love. Also, if you really pay attention to the vocal line you’ll see that V has the deepest voice of all of them.
Also, Jungkook used to rap in old songs, Boy In Luv is a song from 2014 💜
I feel their music is very cohesive and well thought out!
IT's fun to watch you enjoy them! Boy with Luv was also the first song/ video I saw from them.
I am a long time Halsey fan. Fell in love with Vs blue hair and hooked on all of BTS since !
If we suggested for you to react to every good BTS song you would be able to do nothing else
#TRUTH
Loved the shout out to Persona 5. I love that game so much. Awesome reaction by the way, glad I could watch.
PLEASE play TXT performance . .... its unbelieveable too ... BIG HIT kicked butt last night
TXT's stage was really, really impressive. Rightfully Rookie of the Year
Omg I can’t wait for you to see the rest!!!!
The Guy with the rose is Seokjin AKA Jin, the oldest member. He jokes around about being worldwide handsome, his voice is incredible and you have to consider that he got scouted for his looks and he never really sang before BTS. Pls listen to his solo song epiphany :)
I was waiting to hear you say that's my boy in hobi's part 😅. Can't wait for the part 2 reaction.
In the early years/rookie days of BTS, Jungkook used to rap too! Thanks for reacting to this!
I was so pumped to see you reacting to this today, and it did not disappoint! Cannot wait for part 2!!!
Their older songs has much hardcore raps into it. “No More Dream,” “War of Hormones,” and “danger” please 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 i love your reactions 😄
Your next video you will be blown away it gets better as the show goes on, these boys killed it and then some! I hope you can do more of their older songs like No More Dreams, We Are Bullet Proof or Dope all great songs to react to. Can’t wait to see the next video it’ll be amazing!
Thanks for pointing out they are doing this LIVE.
The one with glasses was Jimin, and yes Jungkook used to rap in their earlier songs.
If you had a seizure during Dionysus, then ig you’re dying at the end of the performance
Did you see their whole MMA performance? Trust me... Those 30 or so minutes are so worth it... I was screaming the whole time I watched it live. Jesus fckigbs chriatejsk. If yoi watch it you should check out their amazing MMA 2018 performance too.
part 2 please🙏🙏🙏🙏💜💜💜💜...this part amazing💜💜💜💜
I'm still speechless honestly lol
I'm excited for part2💜
I love when someone realizes for the first time that Jungkook can rap haha
I can't wait for you to react at the second part.
Thanks for this great reaction, looking forward to part two
Love love LOVE RM's hair. Pleeeeze react to Boy In Luv dance practice. I DID recommend it earlier.
(no one notices me ever...sniff). Oh wow, V's hair should always be black.
Im noticing you!! I'll put it on the list.
@@TheChampOfMedium Yay! Me me me
there is something that's really hot about them performing this song now that they're all mature and shit. I'm scared that i will go straight for them tbh
BTS Is the Best 💜 está presentación estuvo brutal 😍💜
He has an earlier intro song that has a similar vibe (art, beat track and all) that he brought back for this with the hints for their next album. In the 1st vc, you didn't show the whole part but there are shadows of themselves walking and that's the theory for their next album name.
Im just gonna sit here and wait for you to watch the next part like this :')))))))
Lol
Been waiting for a posting of this. You are a god for finding it. Can't wait for part 2.
Try to react to MAMA 2019 BTS performance it was mind blowing especially the N.O and bulletproof part .. can't get over with it till now ..
Hey I did recommend it to u twice boy with luv is my favourite song of theirs always puts me in a good mood
Boy in Luv the song before Boy With Luv is one of the song in their debuted first album
For me was easy to know who was who once that I took the time to identify their voices...in a couple of day I got them. It was easier that trying to be updated with hair colors
Boy in love is one of their debut songs as newbees
Could react to TXT (tomorrow by together) in the MMA 2019, it is the sister group of BTS, (they are like their little brothers), they debuted this year.
You should react to MAMA2019. You can hear a lot of guitar sound especially in the beginning of their performance. I really recommend it.
I literally started hyperventilating on Dianysus. Like boys, please never chill. Kill me already. 😂
That said, please make sure to breathe when you get there. Boy with Love is a sort of continuation to Boy in Love, so that's the logic behind naming them so similar 💜
Boy in Luv is connected to Boy with Love. BTS always own tge stage! BTS is the best! there's nothing like BTS!
In 2013 at debut they all started out rapping!
Nice reaction, appreciate your comments
No need to compare, you are awesome the way you are ^^ Thank you for this reaction and I hope you do Dionysus
Stamina BTS has stamina. They hate lip-syncin so they do as much live as possible.
lordd cant wait to see your dionysus reaction 😆
Cool reaction dude, can't wait for pt. 2!
Jungkook used to rap yes ;D
