I've cut with both and prefer the tracks by a long ways. You have to be a little more cautious to not roll a track off twisting on stumps, but overall I'd say the pluses out weigh the negatives.
@@davidjohnsonskidsteer6856 Off the top of my head... Ride. Much smoother. Doesn't fell like I've been in a washing machine all day. Stability. Both side to side on slopes and front tipping due to load. Ground contact. We pile with our saws and they'll push a lot more. Ground pressure. We do a lot of cutting in wet bottoms and would bury up with tires. The only real issue I have is the life/replacement cost. I generally get about 800-1000 hours out of a set. I haven't priced a tire loader in years, I'm sure the initial cost is quite a bit hire for tracks too. What kind of loader are you running?
Komatsu tire machine. I am thinking about upgrading. At almost 3000 hours. How much horse power you have. Mine is like 86. Smoother ride would be sweet
Let's see if I can get this. MOVO24 has a video of his blade thats good. I bought one a year ago and on big trees it's a lot closer to the ground and smoother. Lots faster.
Heard you recently picked up an excavator. Can't wait to see the video on that!
What do you think of tracks vs tires? I have heard they don't like cutting trees. Just wanted your opinion.

What are the pluses

Have you tried aftermarket blade.
They are awesome. Faster, smoother cut.
No, other than it has a 1/2” AR400 blade that’s cut to the same specs as the factory 3/8” blade.

I have run a Marshall for 15 years. This is my 4th blade.
@@davidjohnsonskidsteer6856 Can you copy a link to the video? I looked for it but I don't see it.
