I sometimes forget what a brilliant game O Group is. I love the way the combat patrols simulate the "feeding" of units into battle via scouts where other games seem to show troops blindly strolling around until they find something to fire on. Great game, would love to see more, as always!!
Lol. Love the confusion over B platoon of C Company! 😂😂. Try numbering your platoons, including support platoons and keeping companies as ABC, plus D if you have 4.
I love your o group reports. A quick question though, I thought tank (and AFV and gun) platoons pooled their dice together when firing HE at the same target. Have i been playing it wrong? Your way definitely tones down tank platoons if they each lose dice for modifiers for moving or firing into buildings and stuff, rather than taking each modifier off the total once
Thanks so much fo another 'O' Group game report... I know that you get things wrong and miss bits out as... as we all do!... But today I got my computer nerd son to leave his PC for the first time, for a game of 'O'group and although he did not win, I think that I now have converted him to Table top gaming... Yes ... we got things wrong... but as you say its just a game.
Great report and eye candy as ever. Cant believe you allowed my beloved Russians to lose. Original game was much more fun when halv the German army did not get to move. Still goes to show O Group is an exciting game.
About two to three hours. If I were you, I'd try to play the game using the QRS and only refer to the book when you really need to. Most of it is pretty intuitive, ie; 4+/7+ for success and easy to hold in your head.
I think you have been deploying from you combat patrols too close to the enemy - you are not allowed to deploy from a combat patrol 8" from the enemy - I think I have spotted you doing this at least twice.

Yeah, it's such a great system, so many brilliant parts to it. Cheers, glad you enjoyed the show!

Awesome table, excellent game. I see the Sturmkat made an appearance at the end to seal the German victory :)
Cheers! Glad you enjoyed it!

I'm not sure. I could have been getting it wrong, I don't have the rules in front of me so I can't check.
Great vid Alex. Hopefully see you at Salute tomorrow.
Cheers, me too!

Glad you enjoyed the video and that's great to hear about your son! Keep it up!
excellent video
Thank you Miles! I hope you're well?
Hi Alex what explosion markers are you using , have you done a video on them they look great
I think they came from Ironclad Miniatures, but I've had them for so long I forget. However, Sabotag3d does a set of them that are similar
Excellent! DCRB
Thanks Dave! Glad you enjoyed it!
Great game, thought the Sovs had it. Reminded me to pick up an 88 at Salute tomorrow 😂
Cheers! Yep, 88s are always needed.

It was vengeance! Thanks Lee, glad you enjoyed the video and that original game was great as well!
Interesting game - thanks! Are those roads from Geek Villain? How wide are they?
Cheers, yes they are from GV and they are 6cm wide, I think
How long does a typical game take for you? My gaming partner and I have just now gotten our O Group games down from 8 hours to 6 hours.

Oh well, I'll live.
Sorry to offend I thought you you were posting a tutorial @@StormofSteelWargaming
Just trying to help. Bit aggressive thought you were posting a tutorial
@stephennutt4083 there was no offence, these are just purely for entertainment though.
