Just put in a few coins to test it, and then you can take your coins back from the coinbox (presuming you're the owner of the machine and the coinbox). For the most obvious reason, you can't start the machine when you unplug the cable.
@@s.l.3673 thanks, mine uses a charge card saves me from collecting coins,, but I found my owners manual and it's the same cable with a couple of button pushes to start a test wash.
Each coinbox should come with a key to open the coinbox top (like the one in the video) and another key to open the coinbox bottom where the coins collection is.
@@lindsayhaddon2999 Each coinbox should have its own key. It's not just some generic GR800 key like a master key that you can open any speedqueen coinbox. You might want to check with the provider of your speedqueen machines to verify. (To be sure, are you the own of the speedqueen machines?)

They pretty much all use a GR 800 key I just ordered one on Amazon

There are other videos on youtube that shows you how to take the coinbox apart to set the charge on a hardware level. Look them up.
