This is why after living in Las Vegas for 44 years I had enough and moved to a small city in Arizona. And no, Bob does not live in a bad neighborhood at all.
It doesn’t matter anymore. Million dollar homes, and what you consider a nice area. I also live in a very nice area, my house is $1 million. The homeless guy that took a shower with my neighbors hose completely naked didn’t give a shit!
You need to setup a remote activation for the cop car out front if you leave it there so you can F with people and turn on the lights and sirens via your phone. I wonder if it would even phase these crazies?
I don't know if these are illegal or not in the state of Nevada, maybe add some Tetusbishi, Makibishi or Caltrops on the inside wall of your property. If they manage to climb over the wall in darkness and land on the inside of your property, they'll get a nice spike thru their foot!. Be sure to post no trespassing signs all around on the outside your property so they are well informed.
Good long form video. Had to watch it all. Can’t wait for the update Woth the finished gate. This video demonstrates why I must live in a gated location.
What you need is a good 120 lb. dog that is afraid of nothing, but controllable. We have used them for years, everyone living near will find out about your dog and never come near. They might not care about you wall, gates and cameras, but a dog will change their minds, and teach each one that your place is no place to be.
Straight 🆙. Move back to texas, or Georgia, get me 20 acres, way in the sticks🏡. I thought bob was doing great with that property, but the fools that’s lurking😳
im guessing an electric fence..attached to anything metal..might deter some..plus make for an awesome ring cam videos ..part 2!! PLEASE DO IT!!!!!!!!!!
You have to remember : You may have more privacy now but SO DO THEY if they scope out your place and do it right. I've heard of some operations around here in my area, I can't imagine what there like in your area. You are definitely on their radar now. Your gonna want something that sends a special alert if it senses somebody trying to cross over your fence. (Possibly even touching the top part.) Maybe simple motion detectors right on the inside of the fence but way up high so you can still walk around the yard without setting everything off would work.
Thorn bushes, thistles, raspberry bushes and nettles are some of my favorite landscaping plants. Oh and bamboo, but careful it can somehow break off at mid thigh level and its super sharp, don't wanna get impaled doing yard work 😂😂😂
It would have been funny if you could have made the patrol car's lights/ siren go off when the kids were considering going in the gate... thank you for sharing, :-)
Its gotten worse over the years. I don't live there but I have family there and have been a regular visitor since the early 80s when I was a small kid, vegas had more of a mid size town feel back in the 80s, but over the decades its grown to be a decently big city, and I have heard more recently, the worst kind of people have moved there from los angeles.
Apply axle grease on top of walls and gates. Double sided keyed only deadbolt on side gate. A nice 360° pan/tilt FLIR camera mounted on a pole at perimeter would be really nice deterrent.
Time to go all out! full razor wire on the wall, pressure plate traps, flame thrower traps, land mines and so on lol. All jokes aside I hope all is well and stay safe y’all
I was just thinking about something sharp like razor wire on top of the fences but make something that is decorative with sharp edges and painfull to climb over. I'm look online to see if any such product exists.
@@LaserSplatter I seen they do make several different types of fencing and fence tops that is a combination of hidden security (sharp edges) while also decorative. Hey Bob I live in a little suburb off of Ft.Worth. The " officials " in our little suburbs thought it would be a great idea to get all our towns on to the commuter train route from FtW to Dallas, which in-turn gave us All Kinds of Homeless people. After calling the police 1 night ,to remove a couple trying to setup camp behind our house ( after they drug a bunch of trash from the nearby drug store ). The Newbie Officers informed us that they were just some poor people down on their luck, they don't mean any harm. They made it sound like we wanted some local opossum's relocated. Their just part of the Local Wildlife, we can't do nothing about them.
Bob rig some strobe lights on the front gate ,with a medium Warning sign, Surveillance everywhere all through this neighborhood keep walking on and don't come on this Barn- property .
My nephew kicked a soccer ball to my neighbors house, I took me months to go over and ask for it back, nice family, been neighbors for 8 yrs lol, I can't imagine just go to some rando house and knockin on the door!
I am extraordinarily happy to be on my 10 acres in North Carolina! No crime, just the squirrels, rabbits deer, and my car collection! I am 10 minutes from Raleigh, our capitol! Why do you want to live in Vegas with the crime, congestion, etc.?
All that knocking was to see if someone was home people do that all the time. Just their phone like he said would have just let the door checkers buddies know whether to break in or not.
Where I live, we have SO MANY "rehab centers" that states all over the country sends addict's here for "treatment". Most of the time they end up relapsing, and have no money to go back where they came from, so they stay here stealing, and all kinds of stuff.
If there's one thing I've noticed, a lenient 7-11 operator is the largest draw for the drugged up homeless crowd to ANY neighborhood. I differentiate between the homeless and the homeless with severe drug issues.
It really isn't that bad of a neighborhood but you're not quite Henderson 😂 I have lived in this area for 35 years A couple blocks West of you and it is a nice area only gotten kind of bad in the past few years
Is the Diamond Point neighborhood in Vegas bad? Pearl Hatpin CT......I had the chance years ago to move to Vegas and live rent free with a family friend while I worked/went to school, so I could save money. But didn't take it coz I didn't know anyone there & was worried living with them might go bad.
Hey Bob. I've recently found your channel and love the content. Keep up the good fight against the funeral scammers. You mention you're in Henderson NV. I follow a fiber artist who also lives in Henderson. What a small world!
My blood boiled when I seen that person making themselves at home,...You know... I'd been "zip code challenged", for awhile,...and I'd never, ever behaved in these manners. I'd usually always had other homeless people disrespect me, not like me, mock me etc.,...the level of disrespect I'd received from most of these people was alarming.
Maybe it's the camera angles. But this is a very interesting location for a house. Looks like public property. Hince all the odd people just popping up. In your typical suburban neighborhood, all the homes are right next to each other with obvious yard lines.
The problem with America is that crime is idolized. From movies to music. Looking like and being a thug is "cool". I know "cool" is not used anymore lmao😂 but you know what I'm saying

I cant find it now, but wish to retract my ignorant comment criticizing Las Vegas and would also like to compliment Bob on his beautiful property. It's nice to see you honor the history of the house and be its' caretaker. Peace
install a water sprayer on full blast, so when you see them trying to spray the walls , they get blasted with water and get soaked head to toe. I know, I know it cost more money, but you have a huge property to protect!!
When I lived I vegas I wasn’t too far from you, it’s a good area but some of the people in the apartment complexes are a little sketchy. That is a busy area that has really built up a lot.
I'm in Vegas also have a business related to what you used to do. In fact we know some of the same people, lol. Anyway Vegas has changed and I grew up down the street from that house. Sad it has gotten that way. The homeless situation has gotten out of hand. They have taken over Sunset Park up the street and often set it on fire. The problem is they feeled entitled to your stuff, really! Oddly this makes me want to change my plans on looking at a piece of property similar to yours about a mile away. Sits right across from a major wash. I believe also in I work for it, you can to. Try and take it and you will soon learn the error of your ways. Believe it or not the wash is the problem they use them to move around and live in and commit crimes.

Hey Bob, you went from a nice neighborhood in Texas to a shit hole in Vegas. We’re waiting for your “Why did I move to Vegas video.”
I think that I would be looking for a more secluded place to live like I did with my transition from Md. to NC. a lot quieter too!

The cameras capture nice images these days but without prosecution who cares. they stop nothing
Another ting that can be installed is motion activated sprinklers.. That could deter people from doing dumb things.
motion activated bear spray
The fact that they habitually cross your property line is interesting
they don't believe in personal property
And i thought the crack heads in Australia were hilarious.. you guys are on a whole new level 😂

I see why gated communities exist now
why?
Two common themes I see here, one, seems to be drugs..and the other? ..well, the images tell the story....
