5:00 - you can check a character's inventory by scrolling down in the gear tab. You still have that gun that you claim to have lost earlier. 22:00 - you should really grab good medicine whenever you can, and forbid it once it's in your stockpile so that it doesn't get used up. Herbal medicine is good enough for basic patching of wounds and bruises, but it can be fatally insufficient in helping colonists fight some of the infections (non-zombie ones). Ideally I like to keep 2 higher tier meds (per colonist) stocked up for emergencies and surgeries and sell off the rest. 26:10 - equip the bows on your unarmed colonists until you can get them guns. Sure, bows are weaker, and your unarmed guys are low in shooting skill, but it's still infinitely better than leaving them to unarmed melee. Also set up a crafting spot and make more if any new colonists join. 31:10 - the reason why Atticus and Marco kept trying to go outside to repair the fence is because he couldn't reach that one from inside of the perimeter. Remove the outer corner fences of your perimeter as such: XXX XX X -> X X X Do this all around your perimeter. Zombies still won't be able to get through, and all of the fences will be repairable from inside. Then expand your home area to include the rest of the fences. That should help to minimize tard wrangling. future suggestion - not a priority, but you have a steam geyser. Research geothermal power and build that generator. With that you won't have to worry about juggling unstable power with batteries and potentially running out of power in critical moments (freeze snaps, heatwaves, etc) until like midgame. Same with watermills - you're living beside a creek. future suggestion 2 - different blocks for different purposes. Art made from marble will have more beauty, walls made from granite will be sturdier.

that would be the "pickup and haul" mod, it makes it so pawns use their full carrying load when doing haul jobs and fill their inventory before picking up an armload of stuff. its a great mod, but that rpg inventory mod makes it less obvious whats going on when somethings in a pawns pockets.
@@TheDanlovejoy The RPG Style Inventory CE (for Combat Evolved) adds that as well, and I think he has it loaded based on the bullet physics in the video.

Ok...I can't be the only person who wants the next female character be renamed "Scout" and the next Male be named "Boo" in honor of "To Kill a Mockingbird" since you started with Atticus, cool to know that he became a wicked shot on a distant planet but I bet he'd love to have his daughter back, lol 😂
I recommend 2 mods, "Real Fog of War" and "[XND] Targeting Modes" as well as setting of the "Special" kinds of zombies and the turning off "Easy to kill".
oh yeah also if you don't have it, "ED-Embrasures", making walls with windows you can shoot through, they are stronger and make more sense than a fence, that the zombies would probably just walk into and fall over, fences are more for keeping out animals than humanoid creatures. then again it's got to be a big and tough fence to keep out a thrumbo. Also I think you can repair corners from the inside using ED-Embrasures. also also, let the zombies atleast be able to smash doors.

@Pravus Gaming...You might want to consider replacing the marriage spot to the dining/recreation room. Having it in the research area doesn't seem appropriate. Make a bow it'll work pretty good. it's cheap too higher level bows are better tho re-curve is good as is the standard. Also your turbines are blocked by trees.
Here is a few tips: Scroll down in Gear for inventory. Try building embrasures into the main fence (if you have them) as a means to kill any Zs or raiders that get past your fence without having to go outside of the defensive walls. Try researching stone cutting so you can build a better wall or electricity to get started on those turret defense. If you have the assign mod, assign your pawns to have at least 1 ranged weapon, 1 melee weapon, 1 stack/half stack of ammo, 1 medicine and 1 food of any kind. Also it might be a good idea to try animal husbandry early on mainly as a source of meat but only after you have your plant growing set up properly.
Not sure if someone mentioned this (probably) don't put the butcher table in the same room as your cook. Increases the chances of food poisoning due to a filthy room.
