That big round thing @10:37 is the pressure switch. The thermostats cailary tube is usualy mounted on the bottom of the tube, with the cables going up/down between the front and Washtube.
Very simple machine and petite in size too. The forward and reverse tumbles are quick (no hesitation). Heats quickly. Obviously there was a fault with the programme as it drained after programme 1 and did not refill again until the middle of the rinse cycle programme (hence the foamy rinses) and it took an age to balance to spin (obviously sudslocking due to the foamy rinses it did causing it not to be balanced) - it did spin eventually once all traces of foam was gone for about just over a minute (maybe just about two minutes) which normally should be around 5 minutes on average for this machine. Faults aside it is a cute little machine perfect for a single person living in a flat (just don't put powder or liquid detergent in after the first fill for the wash just in case that drain fault after first wash programme (programme 1) persists).
Such violent little spins with these 😂 But yet nothing ever seems to brake 😊 if a machine done this these days it would probably get damaged or destroy itself… It’s definitely true they done make anything like they used to, some for the better but most for the worse.
Oh I did select pre wash. Why did it drain before program 2. Turning pre wash off turns off the drain between program 1 and 2. It also then drained for 35 minutes. Dose 5 rinses normally. By the time the pump switch turned off it had allready advanced through the first 3.
@@whichwasher2007 🫢☹️ so when working properly I assume the select switch will cause the program timer to not empty the drum and fill from the drawer and further heat the wash; makes sense to use the pre-wash water, and if pre-wash isn’t selected it starts the pre-wash and continuously advance’s though it treating it as the main wash and heating to the thermostat setting and then pumping the water out and starting the rinse cycle. Can you repair it? It is unfortunate to how complex these analog program timers are on these vintage washing machines, despite how simple and rudimentary these Eudora washers are

I love the 'genius in its simplicity' design the Eudora-made machines have. So much mechanical-controlled stuff going on in there. Totally unique!
