    thank you for sharing your gut health journey. i've been having gastrointestinal problems since i was young and my family physician just tells me to eat more fibre (which hasn't helped very much) so hearing other people discuss their experience with doctors and their gut health helps me feel less alone and makes me want to speak up for myself because i'm tired of the pain and discomfort and fear of food.

    I’m so glad to hear you say your gut health has been improving. I have terrible issues in that area and as of 2022, I’ve finally been able to work from home full-time and it has drastically reduced my stress (I worked on pandemic response) and I’ve been feeling decent lately. I also went on medication to help, and that combined with a reduction in stress is life changing

    lindsey those chili garlic noodles look sooo good!! also im so happy to hear your gut health has been improving, i deal with chronic bloating (amongst other health conditions) and have tried almost everything and have recently looked toward low fodmap / reducing things like garlic onions cruciferous vegetables on top of gluten dairy etc. you talking about your experience definitely gives me hope that i can eat those garlic chili noodles someday soon too lol!!

    Hearing you talk about creating a balance with vlogging was really nice. Watching a bunch of people live their lives on the internet in ways that I sometimes wish I did has also led to a lot of comparison and bad mental days on the my end as the audience. All this to say that I am excited for more sit down videos and other forms of content from you! I think there needs to be a 2012-2015 fashion/lifestyle type youtube content renaissance lol

      I never experienced any benefits from taking probiotics, even the expensive one. I would like to try The Seed but in Canada in the winter I fear the will freeze in the box

      @@LydiannaBella I had horrible abdominal pains in December, really bad large intestine bloating to the point where I got stretch marks from it, zero appetite, I could barely hold food down and while taking care of a newborn I was extremely stressed, ran on no sleep and was very scared frankly, I started drinking kombucha which helped but when I started to take this stuff in two days I started to feel so much better, or rather stopped feeling all the pain and discomfort, it's pricey and sorry if its TMI but two days after I started I finally started to have normal bowel movement in years. From all the doctors I've seen and things I took this was the biggest catalyst for my health and I've taken probiotics for years, for me personally none have come close to this stuff. I'm just thankful that Lindsey talks about these topics on her channel, because I wouldn't even know about this item to he honest since there's so much stuff out there.

      @@kaiju_k5042 I completely understand. I have been suffering from IBS for pretty much all my life. I know I have food intolerances but still I get discomfort even if I eat right. I tried to look for them in drugstores.

    I would be a little wary of functional medicine and promoting it because a lot of it is disproven pseudoscience, but hey, I’m glad it’s working for you!

    I've always had problems going to the rr 😕 and I had to cut down on sodium it makes me bloat so much

    I recently discovered your channel and loving it. I'm currently going through my own GI journey. I've come back normal on my panels, negative for Celiac, UC and Chrons and coming up on my endoscopy procedures. I was given some IBS meds to help relieve in the interim but sometimes get the feeling I'm not being taken seriously so I'm considering investing in myself and seeing a naturopathic doc to get the works on intense food testing and healing from within. Is this the same type of doc you saw? Any recommendations on what to be tested for? Thank you!

      I saw a functional MD. We did a GI 360 test, it tests for a lot of different potential issues. Good luck!

    Its super awesome that you are feeling better! Obviously, you can do whatever you want with your body and if you've found something that works for you that's great! But I would be careful though about promoting functional medicine to other people though as it uses unproven and disproven methods and treatments and unnecessary and expensive testing procedures. I'm really not trying to be rude or anything I just though you might want to know!
