Thanks, Danny. I didn't watch to learn new things, it's just your teaching style is interesting and entertaining. This is such a great starting point for a new user.

Hey man great video. I’m new to obsidian. Do you know how to center ONLY ONE table to the center of the page whilst the others remain align to the left?

Alignment ist some Obsidian does well. That would be a question the CSS people in the Obsidian discord 😁

Excellent 'starter' kick off for Obsidian... for plain starters, the only "missing" titbit is I think the open on start, i.e. the normal use of a journal or daily page. As this kicks off the use of templates ( an essential writing tool) and the ability to either open a file or start a new one, not just return to where Obsidian was left off.

I debated adding that but as someone that doesnt used daily notes or templates in that way I avoided it but understandable!
A bookmark dashboard is my advice for most beginners 🤷‍♂️

I used obsidian for 4 months and finally switched to logseq which is simple and effective.
    Reason :
I spend more time in learning stuffs in obsidian rather than doing the actual work.
To run queries to retrieve data from our notes, the javascript is too complicated to learn for a normal user , Where as in logseq the queries are very simple with human language makes it easier to work with.

Thanks, I didn't know about logseq. I also like simple things. 👌

i think you should add prereuirenemt and next steps linking system for your videos for example any video should link to this video like if you are new to obisidian watch this etc. and for example you can link another video as if you want to take the next step and video link. that way you can protect integrity of short form obisidan content

Are you sure these are things you wish you knew earlier or is this just a basic tour of the app?
