Thank you for making this video.. this helped me tremendously. I Have to store my new motorcycle for a year. Does running a fuel injected engine until fuel runs out damage it? Is draining the tank important? I was advised to fill the tank with petrol to avoid rusting inside. Otherwise, I will have to remove the tank to drain it. Thank you.
If its fuel injection I would drain the fuel and run it dry. Better still only leave a cup full of fuel in and run it every 3 months topping up with a little more new fuel each time

@@DarshanSubbaMiraks My best friend mechanic said to run it till engine dies. This is for storage of 6 months or more. That said, he said it is best to get someone to ride the bike or at least start it once every two weeks. Add some fuel to keep it as fresh as possible. Worst thing, he said, is keep it with lots of fuel and letting it sit. My plan is just ask a friend to come ride it around the block once a month.
I want to store my motorcycle for 10months..its 300cc fuel injected. When I start after 10months there should not be any major issues. Please sujjest me what to do..
cub rider you spray it into the air intake on carb engines until it stales the engine then squirt it in through the plug holes then turn the engine over and it coats the piston n barrel in a sticky and corrosion oil

@@arielban1 how did it go mate? I have a FI engine too so was in dilemma to dry or keep some fuel
