I came upon this video randomly and I almost turned it off because you seemed a bit much but then Your energy is so wonderful and precious I just absolutely love you :)
I was thinking about you the other day cuz I was pinning a sewing project and you had showed us how to pin, just small amounts, wow! That works SO much better! And the trick with the used needles to hang stuff in your sewing rooms? My clock kept falling off the wall, until I did it your WAY! You are changing my life, little steps at a time, but your in there, oh and my seams are so on point cuz of you, and your three pins! I've made two chevron quilts that are perfecto! Thank you my lil buddy
Yes, I understand. I have learned everything I know from other people, and I love the great tips too. I did come up with hanging things on used sewing machine needles myself. NOW, if I could remember to take some with me to work so I can hang a quilt up there.
You are so funny. You made me spit my coffee across the room! Lol I'm so happy you are sharing all your products that you like with us. Keep up the great work! You haven't told me wrong yet. I dearly love the bath brush! Got the bra strap stuff on order, and soon will have this. Thanks so much! I need to start making smaller quilts though I don't have that much wall space left. Lol hugsssss!
Glad I keep you laughing, Dorene! I laugh a lot. It keeps me from dropping into a depression sometimes with awful family issues -- mainly one family member. She is a mess. Yes, smaller quilts!
I’m my goodness! You are so funny! I feel we could be BFFs. 🤣🤣 Your video popped up on my feed since I’ve been looking for a way to hang my quilts. This is PERFECT! Thank you so much for sharing. ❤️😉
I really look forward to your videos and appreciate the time you take in making them. You bring so much joy and brightness into my life. Had to leave a comment because I absolutely love your pants!! - love the color and they fit you so well. Love the blouse too! Your outfit today really suits your bright and cheerful personality :-)).
Joy. You're a hoot. Made me laugh out loud. The hangar is genius. Thanks for showing it. I love the colors on your top and the criss cross wrap style. Because I'm new here, I'll probably ask some questions you've already dealt with, but I hope you can tell me if you have a video on it or a pattern number. So cute. Love this video.
The blouse was a gift from my daughter. I made the yellow pants a long time ago. Don't recall what pattern they were. Probably Sure-fit Designs. Thanks for your comment.
I'll tell you why I watch you....you are so normal...like us, you make mistakes, you laugh at yourself....but mostly your entertaining, Thank you for staying you....
Thank you Ruth! I know a lot of people who cannot take correction of any kind, and I don't want to be like that. I want to always strive to be a better person and learn new things.
Love 💛💛💛 those yellow jeans and 💛🧡❤️ flowery shirt!!! They look great on you. Have you made all the colors yet? That thing is genius. Now you can hang them anywhere!!! Hugs! 💝💝💝
I am glad to hear that the hangers are that good. I was considering them myself. However, Nancy Notions have them for sale for $29.00 to $59.00 depending on the size you buy.
Yes, I did sew a hanging sleeve on the quilt. Actually, there are two of them. I left an opening in the center for that clamp. If it wasn't already hanging up, I would show you.
you didn't mention if these were new jeans. love the color and the blouse too. Great hanger, i'll have to look for them to hang my quilt over the stairwell.
Hello, Joy! You look so pretty with the yellow and the other bright colors! Thank you for sharing this great new invention! It looks so simple, but works great! I love the turtle quilt! I'm glad to see him again! I bet your husband could figure out how to make one a lot cheaper with PVC pipe and some kind of clamp! Maybe not, but it would be worth a try, maybe in an area that wasn't so hard to get to. I live on a very tight budget, so I am always trying to think of how to do things the cheaper way! I used to teach school and I have seen PVC pipe used for all kinds of things! Have you been making any of your jewelry lately? I noticed your pretty earrings matched your outfit! You always look so good, and you always match so well! Have you seen the sales they are having at Joanns' fabrics? They have a lot of things marked down to 70% off, but I think it ends today. You should take a look online. I think you can use your regular coupons on some things too! Do you ever do any paper crafting like scrapbooking or card making? You probably don't have the time with work and everything. I like to scrapbook, mostly I just love pictures! I like the old fashioned kind that you can hold in your hand! I can't stand having to keep pictures on the computer like all the younger kids do! My grandmother taught me about pictures and how to take care of them and how to date them and document them, so people don't forget! I'm old fashioned! Anyway, I better let you go! I hope you have a great week!
YES!!! I love pictures. I have tons of rubber stamps, inks, papers, cardstock, and ...... I decided I prefer the old fashion type picture album where you just flip through it and see pictures. I did make a lot of cards in the past and did Christmas letters and cards with the grandkids with they were little. Still have all of them. Precious memories!
Hey sweet lady, happy Tuesday. I was too lazy to scroll down through comments for this; I love the quilt hang it dang it concept, but how does the bar attach to back of quilt? Do you make some type of opening to slide bar in? I love how your spool quilt turned out. Just LOVELY.
Yes. I made a rod pocket. Two actually. You leave the center part open for the bracket, but you don't have to do it that way. You can do one long rod pocket.
Joy Bernhardt Thank you! It’s a really great idea. I’m watching one of your videos from Feb. 25 about the bust darts and I cannot stop laughing. You seriously are so damn funny Joy 😂
No kids. Home alone a lot. My sewing machines are all out all the time so it is easy to come and go all the time. Thanks for the compliment on my top. It was a gift from my daughter. I think she bought it at Steinmart years ago.
Joy, What is the pattern of the blouse you have on? I love it! Could you let me know, please? Also, how do you sew the sleeve onto the quilt? I know this is a beginner question but I’ve never needed this info until now. Thank you so much!
Joy, you inspire me. I bought the jalie 3461 pattern, but cant seem to find stretch fabric. Went to mood fabrics, could not find all thosecolors you found. How do goggle it? Spent hours looking, a bit frustrated. Please help. Ali
I better put this in the description box above. I've had several requests. Go to moodfabrics.com and put in "stretch cotton denim" in the search box. Let me know if that works for you.
The directions say "no tools." But I wish someone would show what the best way to put the black connector to the wall. Don't you need a nail and hammer? Also, I've been playing with putting my small wall hanging (with sleeve) in the clip, and it's not as easy as it looks. I'm getting a curl in my wall hanging. How about showing some tips on making sure the quilt doesn't curl over the clip in the middle.
@@Joy4650B A man from the company called me. My sleeve is too narrow, but he came up with a simple solution for me, so I don't have to make an entire new sleeve. Thanks for your reply.
Your new outfit is positively GORGEOUS! What pattern did you use for your top? I had to order the Jalie pattern, they should give you a discount code for all the business you create through your blog/vlog.😉 With the quilt hanging, isnt it still difficult to hammer in the nail? We have a difficult staircase too as well as one of those multi positioning laddars, still hair raising😨
Jerry was on one side and I was on the other. It was quite sturdy and easy. The problem at first was putting more than one nail. One was easy. I'll put a picture of the set up in my BLOG soon.
Hi Joy! I am a relatively new subscriber. I am enjoying your videos very much. Love the energy, enthusiasm and all the positivity. Oh..and the humor. Thank you for the time you invest in the videos. So nice to do find someone that quilts AND sews garments. Do you have a video that tells us a little more about yourself? I gather that the store you refer to is medical equipment? Do you long arm for hire?
If you go back to when I started, you will hear me talk a lot about myself here and there. We own a DME company with two locations. I do not quilt for anyone but myself. It is my hobby. Thank so much for the comment.
I don't think these will help me, I have OLD plaster walls. One nail and you can just have a crack in your wall from top to bottom. (Yes, it's happened). Looks like this would work great for drywall though. Gurl, whatever you're having for breakfast, I want some. You look like you have energy for days! I agree with everyone else, that top is sew pretty.
Thanks Linda! I know. My husband was having a fit saying the quilt was going to pull the whole thing down off the wall. I used a pretty big nail with a flat head on it. It is in sheetrock without any anchors. We will see.
Yes, I really like that blouse too. It was a gift from my daughter. She has good taste. The two blouses I get the MOST compliments on were gifts from her. She got them at a store called Steinmart about three years ago.
@@Joy4650B I would like to see the back of your quilt and what you sewed to slide the Hang it Dang it rod through. It would be nice to see a demonstration. Love your enthusiasm. Thank you for recommending this item. I like that it doesn't show from the front and is easy.
Your a real JOY! I always smile when you're on.! I just love your personality! Thank you. Love your quilt too!
Love your videos! Your so funny! Beautiful Quilts. Your a great quilter!
Your top is absolutely stunning! You are so hilarious with your stories. Thanks for making me laugh.

LOVE the outfit. You look gorgeous in those colors.
Love the quilt you finally got to hang up. It is stunning.
Joy, your yellow pants look great on you. Good job fitting them. I bought a hang it dang it to hang a quilt over my bed. It is fantabulous!
Great idea! Thanks for sharing. Love the new yellow jeans and that's a perfect fabric choice for the top.
