this is why it annoys me when people say kyungsoo dances lazily... yes he has a certain nonchalant style bc of his expressions, and he rarely smirks or bites his lips. but he is definitely not lazy. when he dances, he has a natural swag that makes things look effortless, not forced, and he aces how to balance weight around his body when he dances, and his footwork is also really good (i mean just watch him tap dance).
kai said so himself that kyungsoo has what it takes to be a really good dancer, but kyungsoo admitted that he isn’t greedy when it comes to dancing spotlights

When I first started Stanning them, I observed DO and thought he dances so well so he must have been a main or lead dancer. I know most like kai and he's very talented but I prefer DO's,and even xiumin's dances more. I think DO style is effortless and cool. Effortless comes off as lazy to some. But he dances with such ease and beauty. Like he just grooves beautifully to the music. While kai dances most of the time doesn't sync well with the songs and the group.Lay is very good and I like him better.i think since DO is the lead vocal along with chen and baek and they already have kai, lay and sehun as dancers,both the SM and DO must have focussed more on his voice. Ever wonder how he's the only one vocalist who is never called weakest in dance?I believe rapping is the one weakness he has though personally I like rap that is good to hear instead of speed and his skills are enough. Don't know if I am able to explain it but it's what I think

Others saying that he's lazy, actually a big NO. It's a technique. He has to reserve his energy because he's one of the vocal line that's very active especially on live. Wanna make sure that he still sang the song without being so tired. Just imagine dancing a very hard correo while doing such a very awesome live vocal performance.

I just realized something, ever since that ankle injury at MAMA 2013, D.O. has toned down his tenacity a little bit. If you watched history, dubstep intro and mama dance practice, he was dancing like he was in the dance line, but after that injury, it’s like he’s afraid of getting hurt again. Which I don’t blame him for.
back then all he focused was EXO but nowadays he has so many movie projects that he put dancing off the the side and focused more on singing. Kyungsoo is naturally a good dancer, if he focused on dancing he would be lead dancer material

His moves are so crisp and fluid. The way he isolates parts of his body for a certain move is 🔥. Just look at how intricate his footwork is too. I dunno the technicalities of dancing, but his dancing always is on point and looks sharp. 🥰🥰🥰

Exo choreography aren't extremely complex but not easy too. They make it look effortless but am sure they are difficult and tiring. But each choreography sets a new trend. Like growl, kokobop, call me baby love shot etc. They are extremely unique and graceful

the history dance practice is really something
his dance style is topnotch he makes every dance look effortless it's because of his facial expression he seems unbothered and cold which makes his dance not that appealing compared to kai or he would have been in the dance line too he also focused more on singing but he is a legend this guy can do everything I'm speaking from dance experience in the past since I couldn't dance like before because of injury I just enjoy observing others people dance and he is the best along with kai and lay sehun kai has more of animated moves its so fast you can barely see him switching he's moves so powerful it's like he's teleporting which fits his superpowers lay style is more of Michael Jackson every one of his moves is connected to the previous one make it seem like he only doing one dance moves that has many others I dont know how to explain it but you get what I mean kyungsoo dance is groovy he balance his body so well between his upper body and his legs movements so good he's seamless and smooth like a snake with his moves👍👍👍❤

For me he's really a good dancer. He's on point and very precise wd his dance moves and hes also singing so yeah he needs to conserve his energy coz its so hard to sing and dance at the same time with that kind of choreography and dance moves. If you notice most of the adlibs are done by him and you will also notice everytime he sings some lines he will not dance that much most especially hitting those high notes.. ☺️
