Guess the Flag | Explaining Baptism | Object Lesson

What is Baptism and why do we do it? When we decide to be friends with Jesus, we make a decision to do life God’s way, not our way. Our hearts are so filled with joy, that we belong to God, and in His family, that we want to show it with our bodies. Baptism is a symbol, an act we do, to show that we love and want to follow God. That we belong to Him. We play a game of “Guess the Flag” to explain how, just like a flag is a symbol of the country we belong to, baptism is a symbol that we are God’s and belong to him.
