This OSU run might go down historically in terms of the teams they beat on their way. Very difficult path, TN, Oregon, TX and ND.

Ryan Day in only 6 years has won a national championship, Sugar , 2x Rose Bowl, Cotton Bowl and 2x Big Ten Championship. This man is ELITE!!!!! And with Ohio State being #1 in NIL funds and Top Five recruiting classes!!!!! Ryan Day could have a run of titles

I don't think they're number one in NIL funds... Texas, Texas A&M and Notre Dame and Michigan. Are now pulling in more money... Remember Ohio state lost on a freshman tackle from South Carolina to Tennessee based on NIL $$

All of Ryan's first 6 years as a head coach are with our Buckeyes. 4 of those 6 years he took us to the CFP, where he is 4-2 in playoff games and 1-1 in Championship games. He currently has the 2nd highest win percentage of an FBS HC with 50+ games in the AP era, and the ONLY HC to have beaten 5 "TOP 5 Ranked" teams in one season. Haters STFU...GO BUCKEYES!!!!

Keep in mind the year Clemson won the national championship when OSU played them in the playoffs the referees screwed OSU in the second when OSU forced a fumble on a pass play and picked it up and ran it in for a TD. The referees ruled incorrectly that there was no catch. Then OSU was screwed by the officials in the Georgia playoff game when the instant replay officials reversed a targeting call when a Georgia DB obviously targeted Marvin Harrison in the end zone which injured Harrison. Any other time throughout the season and that targeting call would have stood and OSU would have had ball inside the Georgia 5 yard line, game over. This year’s championship could have been Ryan Day’s third national championship if not for thievery by the incompetent zebras.

Sorry, but the loss to Michigan does not "all go away" with this win. As a proud member of the Therapy Wanting Lunatic Fringe, I am happy and grateful to God that our players stood up and took control of their destiny to make this run and win it all. Their last 4 games were the most impressive strings of victories I have witnessed in 55 years of watching Buckeye football, especially after losing to Michigan! And, it is great that our genius coaches finally got their heads out of their behinds and got out of the way, by finally ceasing the reliance on the stupid zone blocking schemes that our big guys have not been able to consistently execute for years under Day. That being said, as we go forward I would love to see Day go on to a level of greatness that exceeds Sabin.

@@devinmckinney7716 Speaking for myself, I was born and raised during Woody's era. Sat only a few feet away from Woody and Archie as my bother played in the Ohio North South all-star game in the 70s where Archie's brother, Ray, was on the team. If I remember correctly the game was played in Canton, near the Pro Football Hall of Fame. After my first hitch in the Marine Corps, I walked-on during winter conditioning in the Bruce era, was invited to spring ball with only one years eligibility just to see if I could compete. Got to meet Chris Spielman, a great guy. Never made it to spring ball because of repeated alternating groin pulls, and decided to concentrate on school. No real national champions back then, no Big Ten championship game. Just Michigan as the primary obstacle of winning the Big Ten and getting to the Rose Bowl, then being crowned national champion by the sports writers. I understand what you are saying, but I guess you it's hard to understand if not born and raised in Ohio during the Ten-Year War with Woody and Bo. Bo, a former assistant of Woody Hayes, going to the already hated rivalry just intensified it. For us on the lunatic fringe, a Natty helps, but a loss to Michigan will not completely heal until a victory the following November. Harbaugh (we call him Hairball) irritates much more than Bo ever did. We had grudging respect for Bo, traitor that he was. I used to root for Michigan outside of the Big Ten, until Hairball pulled the recent crap with that Stallions fellow. I could go on...😁

Congratulations to Ohio State for completing one third of the "Big Ten Trifecta" while losing only two games during the year. Michigan turns over the National Championship, having WON the "Big Ten Trifecta". . . winning ""THE game," winning the Big Ten Chanpionship, winning the National Championship, and going UNDEFEATED during the year..
Perhaps Ohio State could play better next season to try to compare with Michigan success.

There is no comparison, in the last 20 years , what has Michigan done ? Because they had to cheat to win games and then happen to have one " one " good year. Please take your daydreaming somewhere else cause no one wants to hear it. Come back and talk trash when you can consistently do something.

Hopefully it means that he can get some confidence now and coach "to win" games. He still coached "not to lose" last night. They didn't throw the ball past 20 yards downfield until the game clincher to Smith. It will still be an issue anytime it comes down to coaching and the Buckeyes don't have a team that's head and shoulders above everyone else talent-wise. I give him credit for putting that team together, but he still coaches like a wuss/beta male.

If Emeka doesn't fumble, which I guess is Ryan Day's fault, there is no comeback. I guess people like you just have to find something to criticize. What would you have said if they were throwing picks when up 16 in the 4th (but I guess you couldn't call him a wuss then)? The opponent is the clock at that point. To stop it is the height of stupidity! Being a "fan" has to be tough when you can't even enjoy a national championship. Life has to be hell with that outlook.
