    I had an MRI last week due to these symptoms. The radiologist used the word "severe" multiple times in writing his impression. Everything was described as "severe". I'm very concerned.

      Welcome aboard! Keep your chin up. There are much worse things to have as stenosis is curable with laminectomy surgery.

      Watch my video on back pain for a start. You can make a big difference in your own care, but you need to have all the right information. IF that is not enough come on my show.

    I have severe tandem spinal stenosis, neck and lumbar. Twice the fun...

      Sorry to hear that! Most stenosis comes from activity over time. But with neck and low back you may be one of the rare "congenital" stenosis people. Did mom or dad have it?

    What is the likelihood an MRI misses/doesn’t capture stenosis?

    • @BestPracticeHealth
      @BestPracticeHealth  ปีที่แล้ว

      Zero. There are "false negatives" on MRI for some problems, but stenosis is not one of them.

      @BestPracticeHealth so I'm confused about this. Was diagnosed in 2022 from xray and MRI. Just had another MRI (2024) and it showed normal results. Makes no sense as I am in 10x's more pain in my back, hip, knee and ankle. It is sharp and shoots down my leg. I was also diagnosed with degenerative disc disease and bone spurs but those also didn't show on this recent MRI. My pain can be unbearable and it's constant so I'm not understanding.

    Ya know, the intro music makes it difficult to understand what you are saying. After music crap, all is well

      No. Medicine cannot make a narrow hole wider. Only surgery can do that. Sorry.
