Excellent. In 1983 me and a load of mates caught the train down from Stourbridge, near Brum. It was an epic adventure. I was only 13 at the time. If me mom had of found out she would have killed me. Massive respect.

Those Legends came to our town up north. My friend's and I got a train in to see. When we arrived we found Andy and his girlfriend needing directions. They were in a white Sierra cozzy or xr4i so we escorted them on our bikes to the venue where Neil and his Dad were. Shredding all the way we arrived to find the kick and quarter set up and great display of tricks. Andy signed my Skyway padset I had on my welded up burner. He was with Raleigh at the time and was real cool about it. Neil was a total Legend! Rip Neil.
The fact they came all that way for us kind of made our year. It was pictured in evening telegraph the following days.
It was really good to see Andy riding his bike again in your film and I remember most of the boys from back when. Many Thanks cool cool cool!

Listening to Max talk about his Ultra Burner was cool, I got mine around 82/83 when they first came out, I would have been ten or eleven. In Hemel we had a BMX Track over in Grovehill, occasionally a wooden quarter pipe would appear and I’d try a weak sauce kick turn, lol. We made the trip to Harrow Skate Park one time on the train, very intimidating! 😬🤣

Great video thankyou for sharing. Amazing I never got to go Gillingham Black Lion was my haunt but.......same designers and same (less popular than the Rom) scene.

@@RomboysFilm I visited the park in 1989 . A group of us from Manchester went down to South Bank in the morning. Then got the tube or train to Romford.
It was a top day out .
