6:50 You said if the sun disappeared, all the planets would continue on a path tangent to their last position "instantaneously" but that would not be the case.
Gravity waves/gravity's influence travels, at the speed of light, so Earth would go off course around 8 minutes after the sun disappeared.
What's interesting about this is that even though Earth would not be orbiting the sun anymore, the farther planets would keep orbiting for more time more, and we'd be able to see that.

In fact, I'm hyper-focusing right now trying to educate people.

Seeing the galactic core with the naked eye is extremely difficult for most people, simply due to the amount of travel required to reach a good spot for it. However, most modern smartphones are plenty capable of making what can't be seen actually visible. Lower your exposure, max out the exposure time, mount to a tripod, point to the northeastern sky (if you're in the northern hemisphere), and try taking a photo. Some travel may be required, but for most people, nowhere near as much as you'd need to see it without the assistance of a camera. Play around with it. Have fun.

The sad part about the fragments crashing into earth thing is that we wouldn’t die then. We’d already be dead. The moon being so close to earth would disrupt a crap load of gravity, yeah. But the true insanity is that when the moon gets smaller, the tides change. Huge tidal waves would bombard not just the coasts, it would go into mainland. Think if you took the tip of panhandle Florida, it would most likely go up to Georgia, if not more. The weather would increase in intensity, with storms 5 times the power of a hurricane occurring as common as a normal rainfall, with even more intensity over time. We would have to hide in bunkers just to escape the 140 mph winds, which would destroy most wildlife and plants. Eventually everything and everyone would be ripped to shreds, and that’s just talking about weather. It would also create a gravity well, so before the moon hit the earth, (if you were on the right part of earth) you would get ripped off the ground and have your skin ripped off your bones. This is just the research I’ve done though. Read up on it if you want, it’s crazy.

    12:40 - Roche limit
Fun fact: in a few million years mars tiny tiny moon phobos will enter the Roche limit and make a ring around the planet, it's not all fun in games as fragments will rain upon the equator, another fun fact is that the mountain sized moon phobos is nearly half the size in thr sky of the moon even tho being tens of times closer and smaller, it's because of how close it is too Mars, phobos btw has an 8 hour orbit

Hey mark, I love the video, seeing you nerd out about space is literally my favourite part of the channel. There is one thing I'd like to point out, as far as I'm aware (I could be wrong) our sun will not go supernova due to its mass not being high enough.
It will expand into a red giant consuming the inner planets before shrinking back down to a dwarf. (This is what I learned growing up, as I was as obsessed with space as you are today)

Well actually the thing is your only partly right all stars will supernova their mass is irrelevant as long as they are a star they will blow up
What their mass chooses is the outcome
So the higher masses will mean a black hole
Lower ones will be nuetron stars or white dwarfs
Saldy the expansion of the sun does happen with all stars and that alone will be the death of earth
