Oh, I almost forgot, we passed 200 subscribers the other day.
Appreciate everyone’s interest in electric propulsion and my adventure.

Absolutely. The DIY part of it all makes it a real learning journey. We appreciate it!

I am sure we would all love more detail video or dialogue on all the DIY projects on board. Feel free to share some step by steps we can all learn from too.

Fred, the extra weight for more storage of water would be ok. But with a washing machine and cleaning the solar panels, it won’t go far.
    But that’s still an option.
I already have an extra water tank, 50 gallons under the v birth for ballast. I could use that. The other thing is that city water contains chlorine and leaves spots on the solar panels. I’ve started a spread sheet to compare the different options.

Stuff is beginning to shut down on the Illinois and Mississippi rivers. Down here on the Tennessee it stays open. Although the temp has dropped to around 10 overnight. Nothing but sun in the forecast.

Locks close in Ontario today so that is a wrap for our boating season.😥. A 220L plastic drum of extra fresh water for washing down etc would be a lot cheaper than a RO plant... but of course you would need to find room and it is an extra 220kg to carry.
