I watched Yuzuru Hanyu perform this song (He's a young world-class figure skater by the way, the first 2-time Olympic champion ever since the 1950s) and I just couldn't help but search the song up. It goes so well with his choreography and elegance on ice. He really made an impact on me, I've never seen anyone as eye-catching and elegant as him. It's not really about how he looks, it's about the way he carries himself, how he makes people feel when he competes, his passion for figure skating. It's the way he can injure himself over and over again but still come back with an even better performance each time. His spirit is amazing and takes my breath away every time I watch him in the ice rink. The performance that left an impression on me was the one he hurt many parts of his body in a crash and still persevered to compete. He fell five times, but he stood up every time and got second place. Everyone knew he deserved gold if it wasn't for that crash, but nobody knew he could still get silver after bleeding and suffering from such pain. That performance makes my heart stutter every single time

I would say that the track was created for a master dance like Yuzuru. Most of figure skaters they do sport rather than dancing, but today Yuzury's dance for this track really impressed me. Additionally, I have noticed from him great ballet preparation.

The performance of Yuzuru Hanyu brought the piece of music to me. When I listened to this piece for the first time, it amazed me! I was so moved with the flow of the music. It seems as if I became a leaf moving with the wind, strong or soft, casting myself into the world this season has created.
lol, no surprise, it has been used by many skaters since 90s. The arrangement suits figure skating very well, it has the perfect slow-fast-slow-fast movements. You can easily place the jumping pass, spin, footwork (and 2nd half jumping pass if it's a long program) to match the music pace. I would say this one along with Scheherazade, are made for figure skating.

This comment Might make Mr. De Blasio unhappy, but I think Yuzuru made this song far more memorable the way he edited it. I literally can't get it out of my mind some days! And I don't know, but I hope Mr. de Blasio received great benefits from his song becoming one of the most memorable Yuzuru Hanyu skating programs, beautifully powerful and yet gracefully winning him Gold at the Rostelecom Cup in Moscow! It was tremendous, and I could hear the commentators swooning over him, looking for better words than Majestic! For me, I thought at least one of Yuzuru's practice videos was even better than his competitive performances, as his delayed axel looked like he had leapt from the Moon onto the rink! Honestly, it was the most delayed giant axel I've ever seen!

If you haven't seen Yuzuru's Moscow performance at the Rostelecom Cup only two weeks after his magnificent Helsinki performance, I actually think that one is noticeably better. He seemed more focused and relaxed, so his moves looked smoother and more elegant, felt more inspired, and the results were intense! I believe the European commentator finally fell completely in love with Yuzu upon seeing this performance! He said Yuzuru had transcended the sport, that it just isn't fair to the other skaters, and pretty much told them to go on home if they were planning on winning! Honestly, he was swooning so much I don't think he knew what he was saying! It was more than just trying to make up for underestimating Yuzuru once again... still, I love that guy! He was more than inspired-- He has God's Own Heart, and proved it with his way of commenting about a little mistake, turning it into a praise!

Also, look up her short program from that year too when she lead Michelle Kwan and Irina Slutskaya going into the long program. In the short, she was BREATHTAKING as she performed to Francis Lai's "SCENE D'AMOUR" !!!
