Hello Navajo Grandma... you're getting down to my part of the world. The last time I was at Chaco Canyon was either 1967 or 68. Maybe one day our paths may cross! Thank you for the wonderful lessons and videos!

Well it's true, we travel there to meet with the rangers to beg to see our Nalis land. Pretty sad. Even those who own trust lands in Chaco Canyon were ostracized, allowed to go with a ranger to their land. Strictly told they cannot pick even a twig of sage or juniper from their land as its against the law. And this is happening now. Pretty sick. That's the top of the iceberg. Navajo Grandma

And I will. I love truth. I know before the end times we all thru out the entire world will see true history as it was truly & you shall see all the made up stuff as thru greed, power and control. Upholding the few but leading away the masses. Prayer, remembering our ancestors, their truths were refused but not anymore. Truth always wins. That's how Christ taught, few listened and most suffered turning a blind eye with deaf ears. Truth is my sword. Navajo Grandma

Everyone has a story. There is happy, sadness, pain, trials, etc. It's acknowledgement, empathy realizing people either make these positive or negative learning experiences from them. It's not always happy recalling but it grows our spine to being better, wiser, & more empathetic, etc. . It's not to be used for reparation monies, maybe ancient bodies of ancestors & regalia, jewelery etc could be returned, but not a necessity. Depending upon circumstances. All in all our story need to be told & that is how we appreciate one another. Gma

Sorry it took a few days to answer, I had an eye infection and finally able to see to type. Thank you for this beautiful comment. I read this and loved it. Your comment came after a dream I had awoken to as I had come to a certain place where I record my videos. In this dream that was so vivid I sat down ready to record my video when grandpa was checking my camera, when a mountain lion came strolling right next to me on my left side. He laid down and spoke to me. He said, " I know you are afraid, do not be, I am not here to hurt you." I gasped because it was a lion talking to me. He leaned up against my chair and I could smell him and hear his breathing. I did say, "it doesn't surprise me that you are speaking to me because my Nali told me that once before man the animals did talk. The Mountain Lion said, "well we have always talked here and in the spirit world.' So I said, what have you to speak to me about? He then said, "some prophetic things then what struck me most was he turned and looked me straight in my eyes and said, "do not trust anyone." Then repeated it again to me. Then I woke up. That whole day there were people who I found were not trust worthy. I told grandpa and he said well we need to be careful. It did make sense as I found a person I hadn't thought wasn't trustworthy, but found the person wasn't. Thus, then your comment came up and there was another lion. So you added to my day and what you said was profound to me. Thank you. Hugs from Navajo Grandma

Jason you might not want to watch my channel any more. A subscriber introduced this guy David Taylor video to me 2.5 weeks ago while in Austin, TX, we were researching. This subscriber asked me if he should pursue watching David Taylor and my subscriber is LDS. I watched David Taylors video for 5 minutes & felt such an awful feeling, I then said a prayer, and was strongly admonished to Stop. I have always been protected by Christ & the Holy Spirit. I warned my subscriber as he this is why he asked me if he should proceed as he heard disturbing fillers in these videos. Then within 10 minutes after I had spoken to my subscriber, a Navajo woman friend called & said, have you heard this guy David Taylor? She said she had watched prior & felt darkness & have I seen these videos. I rehearsed what my subscriber introduced to me, how I felt, I prayed due to the dark feeling I had & was admonished to stop. She was shaken up by everything David Taylor had been speaking. I said, I always admonish to my subscribers to fast & pray so they have clarity of the spirit when they hear the news, media, or with everything in life. So I opened a fast very prayerfully. The next day driving thru ft worth, in about Denton, TX I received a huge prompting to read 2 scriptures in answer to my fast. (Remember I am not a scriptorian) & was strongly prompted to read Matthew 24 & Matthew 7. Due to driving in late to Amarillo we had to leave early to Santa Fe, I didn't read the scriptures or chapters. I prayed exhausted. GPA drove the next morning. Suddenly that same prompting strongly returned & funny thing I told gpa hey our King James Bible is here up front the car, did you put it here? He said no with a puzzled look. I opened the chapter up anxiously. To sum it up-Matthew chapter 7 was about wolves in sheep's clothing, again I was warned after I read this that this was the answer. Then I read matthew chapter 24 & again this was about in the last days when fake Christ's will come "lo here, lo there..." I wept & I called my Navajo friend in MO & told her I wish I could hug the Holy Spirit because He warned me & impressed upon my mind these 2 scriptures & now I know about David Taylor. It was wonderful & humbling again proof to me the counsel of all our ancestral Chieftans, Ancestors & mostly the Holy Ghost to pray always, to fast for clarity to protect us in these End Times. I wish I could talk to you about the rest. It only gets worse & sadly as you choose right over wrong thru the Holy Ghost & Christ as your Foundation that you lose friends & get threats to sue me from this David Taylor. Amazing I never heard of a person who believes he is the End Time Servant to get so angry, grit his teeth & fists at us threatening to sue us all because we true Native Americans do not stand with him this David Taylor. How many prophets, seers & revelaters or include the End Time servant announcing himself on TH-cam think on this one. But it will come quietly, thru the spirit and thru the holy priesthood, etc. We vetted him. He is pure German, the Bureau of Indian Affairs wrote & said he is not enrolled in any tribe in the USA nor the tribe he professes does not exist. His lawyer paperwork he uses to try & prove he is a chosen leader & using the Little Shell logo & paragraph by a fictional chief the 3rd who says David Taylor is who he says, this letterhead belongs to the Montana Little Shell & they told David Taylor he is committing a Federal Crime using their letterhead. Also my Navajo friends husband is of the Chippewa Turtle Mountain tribe. He called the Turtle Mountain tribe & was told David Taylor is not a member as he professes & on & on. David Taylor is a sad soul bitter angry because his wife left him as he himself has said & now sleeps with their Bishop. You wonder why this is fueling the "watch I will get you LDS church like the Salamander Letters. I would fast & pray Jason. It's a sad situation that every LDS member is falling Hook, Line & Sinker over this so called Midew who believe they are top shamans & have greater power than God & have greater power than the Priesthood. How does that grab you? You wonder why he is threatening everyone who has discovered him. I would go as far to say he is another Korihor. Except Korihor confessed his evil lies before he was run over. We are in the last days. It's here. Remember the scriptures are to the members of this church not the world
As they the LDS church shall be deceived & looking like the general authorities are falling too. Yup David Taylor thru the adversary seems to be the one to cause a great Apostacy. Could be. I am just saying. Not me I won't follow David Taylor's evil lies. I bear my witness, God lives, Jehovah, Jesus Christ is His literal son & I know with no doubt more so, the Holy ghost does bear witness of ALL TRUTH. Amen

Jason. You are a good soul. Yes there are too many LDS falling prey to this David Taylor. His ranting anger, threats to the Mormon prophet, cussing out their general authorities, and being funded by a group supposedly bearing witness of the bk of m. Some being well to do as David Taylor threatened my friends for interfering with his making money. A very disturbing soul. As I said to these LDS leaders what will you do when those professing to being Christ, who will surely cone, what will you fall for then? This Taylor guy is a test, and already tons of LDS are going apostate because this David Taylor is new blood, has a very wicked tongue, I call him David Korihor Taylor. I can only bear witness of truth from the Holy Spirit. Mr. Taylor threatens we are destroying his Greed, Power & Control he has gained. He has an ulterior motives as his gritting teeth grinds when he speaks of his wife leaving him for a Mormon Bishop. So he has an are to grind even with this. His hate is loud & clear. The adversary gnashes his teeth at us for vetting Mr Taylor. He is German thru & thru. He is unknown by the Bureau of Indian Affairs as there is no tribal associations he has. His fictitious tribe is loud n clear of a hoax. It's how he speaks so forcibly that many LDS say, "oh we hurt & down trodden the Indians now we need to hear and help..." how silly!! Sure things happened but use the spirit to aid and bless others instead of jumping in head first. It's a sad situation here. Even elect priesthood men are asking me my opinion. Goodness sakes. I ask everyone, have you fasted & prayed for wisdom and acknowledgement from the Holy Ghost? There should be no question. I knew 5 minutes into this when a subscriber asked my opinion. I was repulsed & warned to stop viewing this. I said a prayer & fasted. Not being a scriptorian I was directed to read Matthew 7 and Matthew 24. Didn't do it right away as we arrived late into the night at our hotel. It was the next day I read this as I was told in answer to my fasting & prayer. I wept to know the Holy Ghost is wise, clear & does bear witness of all truth in regards to my concern. Thus can we all receive the clarity when we truly desire to know truth. Be wise Jason. Grandma loves you. I am helping to protect you from evil. You just dodnt show up here for nothing. There is a purpose. Pray to know. Fast. Hugs to you. Navajo Grandma

I feel displaced but forgotten history makes me proud to be indigenous like Shoshone, Mescalero, and Taos Puebloan. Not many Navajo's know we were influenced by North Athabaskan Languages. Then Mescalero and Navajo's were influencing each other when we migrated before Colonialism
Im planning on doing a DNA test. DNA can trace your bloodlines migration.

I appreciate all you have commented, but be warned, historians have not spoken truth and can make you confused as it has done for most Native Americans. Also, being a Professional Genealogists, these DNA tests are not accurate and DNA is not a Science. Please know this. Too many people but their bet and accept these tests like they are a true Science but far from this. Give it maybe another 20 years if we have that long and yes it may be better. Too many Navajo's have gone to other parts of the world being told by the geneticists they are from China, from Athabaskan countries, or even from the Hispanic countries, why? Because they are misled by what they believe is their DNA truths. We have worked with geneticists and those doing DNA and its sad that Ancestry and other companies are putting DNA as if it is a true Science when it is not. It is a good test for paternity and that is it. You have to also wonder why all Native American Nations, or Tribes will not accept DNA because, again, it is not a Science and it is very fallible. The tests were done with Sitting Bull's great grandson and it showed he was European without one stitch of Native American blood, even his hapla group was wrong. It was completely ridiculous and it has happened to many people and they are being led astray with this non Science. That is my soap box and I know when I share this with most geneticists they think I am one of them. It is just using wisdom and understanding. Just be careful. Navajo Grandma

I myself know the masonry we use or used are almost exact to the way the children of Israel created their buildings and as time moved on the art faded. When my Nali and great Nali died these ways died. If you drive along the wash & arroyo of where the chaci rivers use to be, you will see the buildings my direct Paternal line built & stand to this day. A visitor said to me " you know these houses were built by the same folks who built Chaci canyon as these houses have stood here from the pictures our our great great grandparents who took these same pictures like it was meant for us to check to see of these houses still stood the test of time. And they still remain." This was an interaction from a Chaco visitor right before the last arroyo you drive over to get to Chaco. I told him my Paternal grandparents built the homes in the same fashion they renovated Chaco because they knew the exact materials to use. If u look closely you can see the Navajo or Dine' CCC Corp who my great GPA taught how to renovate the walls versus the cement the white folks used & that cement is deteriorating but not the renovation part of my nali's. The site is maintained by National Park Service officials that know about restoration.
Diné were not the masons that built these structures. Look up their traditional housing structures called hogans you will see the female and male hogans are small mud huts-like structures. No masonry, only masonry that Diné or Navajos performed were Pueblitos which are smaller masonry structures. Nothing to the scale of Chaco, the pueblitos were constructed in recent times being the 1680’s and Chaco in the mean time was constructed beginning around 600 C.E to 1100 when it was migrated from. Diné are recent migrants to the southwest.

I have had these for a long long time. When we traveled after Gpa and I got married we shopped everywhere. Gpa did this for me as I told him my EX husband took my Paternal Gpa's hand made Silver concho belt and my jewelry and hocked them to pay an Ex-con who said he fixed our car. We found he had used coat hanger wire to hold our car together. We drove down San Bernardino Mountain and then got to Los Angeles when the car just stopped and would not go anymore. A car repairman almost yelled at my Ex saying, who in ??? fixed your car and you know you all could have been killed. Then this Ex Con came after my EX said he would kill him he said. So he sold my sacred jewelry in LA. I also didn't really have any jewelry and Gpa bought me jewelry to help heal some wounds. Don't worry he has some huge gorgeous bolo ties and rings and bracelets too that I too bought for him. It was Gpa's kindness that helped me but still that hocking of my Grandfather's hand made Concho belt has really never gone away. I wept for years and I have a couple of the concho's still and I hold them as they were made by my Gpa's hands. That I love and send him my prayers of thanks what he did to give me his concho belt trusting in me to keep that forever to remember him by. I never found it. Sorry this is what I had to share. So I am humbled you like my jewelry. They are jewelry and gorgeous but not everything to me, but the kindness & love gpa had to make sure I always had a beautiful necklace because I didn't afford any. Love you. Navajo Grandma

Hello Navajo Grandma, I want to know what happened to the melanated, dark skin-copper colored Natives?(I don’t want to use the word black because people are not colours) How did so many of them disappear? I have very old pictures of people from the Shoshone and Ute people who look exactly like me, split image. I’ve never seen anybody who looks just like me but I’ve found 3 who are all from this area in The West and my soul feels deeply connected, this is how I found your channel after years of research. Well I don't know how to describe the skin color only that their skin is the same color as mine. I also can only state that these people after Jesus Christ appeared to them in Chaco Canyon, after He taught them such technology and herbs and life where they were, taught them His teachings that when he was ascended, that these people were so distraught and loved their Savior that they lived such lives that they became translated. That is the reason why when my Nali and the 11 men who taught each other and those who were in our Paternal male family line that that is why there were not any bones found here. There were 14 bodies but they were sent to New York. Never repatriated. I hope you understand this. Navajo Grandma

Troy your kind comment shows your heart and that is so wonderful and loving and kind. Few even have this amount of compassion and even our own Native American tribal members. Yes, the hearts of men are becoming more and more cold. But not yours. You need to understand this, "you did not do this, and man be your ancestors did, but its done". This is past and we need to allow that to be in the past that we learn from it. Some cannot do this but the healthiest way is learning from the past as it does make us stronger and it does bring us together. I do not fault you and no one ever should. Our ancestors did do some crazy stuff and we all still do crazy stuff too, just look at our society now. I also want to say, "who do you know who did change the past?" I mean the person went back into time and changed it? No one, thus we leave it alone. We learn from it that is it. At time it does hit me wrong but I need to speak to myself and stop the blame. We need to busy ourselves being kind, serving others, doing our work honestly, saying a kind word, giving a smile, and there are many other ways to show kindness and giving hope. So now that all this is said, more than needed, but Grandma loves you and let's celebrate your great grandfather Peter Shirts for the good he did. You are a chip off the old block sir. So no more worries, lets just have a new lease on life and move forward. Hugs for a wonderful outlook and a greater future learning from the past. Hearing very little, I can't really believe this information that is provided. These Indians were apparently here long before we were and were down in the southern mountains. Now remember this is also information that we all need to research but it is not my Navajo tribe and grandma does way too much research. If the Cochise tribe wants to research this I say, do it. Apparently they made pottery and they say it was like the Pueblo pottery. Well the Dine' taught the Pueblos how to make pottery. Thus, I see the pottery and it does look like Pueblo pottery but not sure of all this information. It has never crossed my thoughts until you brought this up. There were Indians from mexico that came as well and there was a lot of mixture going on you know. Making pottery and working with metals wasn't something unusual. Every Native tribe did some and sure there was the hispanic influence there as well. But to sum all of this they say there were a people who existed. Sorry. Navajo Grandma

My mothers mother was born or adopted in Morenci in 1886. I have a church baptismal document and wonder if there are records of that could trace lineage. Is there a special DNA program that could confirm relations in any way? We were raised as Mexican as my mother was born in Mexico when Grandmother was traveling. My daughter has a DNA profile, but I suspect the company excludes much of Native lines on purpose.
Classifying many native lines as Mexican.
As a reader researcher, I have many revelations & theories. Is there any relation to Chac Chob or Pakal? Pakal imo is the root of the Paul Bunyan story, as Pakal is Paul & Bani of Ahn is First light or first milk of Ahn... in Sanskrit. And they both had the same exploits , digging the canals clearing the forests, Pakal's self portrait & a Blue craft.
