Burning tempo Contrafact on 'Confirmation' changes. IMHO this was John Scofield at the top of his powers, I absolutely love his 'old days' sound w/ the stereo chorus, Smitty Smith and Don Pullen were absolutely killing it too. Thanks for sharing.
Nothing like the sound of a Hammond organ and the bass foot pedals. Fantastic!
Marvin!! Great Drummer he‘ cocking yeah man! All the Best wishes Charly
Smitty is by far one the smoothest ever around the set. Effortless speed and touch
Agreed and he sounds great in this setting. I remember even as a young drummer back in the 90s (!) I heard him on a few recordings like with Bhekhi Mseleku and Robin Eubanks and thought 'man- he's a bit busy!' Now I think so what ! Nothing wrong with that!
SENSACIONAL 😮
I miss watching you argue (chat) with Sam Ulano. Good to see how much you’ve accomplished…. Much respect
Pretty weird that this band never released a record ( maybe they did, but I don't know about).
Don Pullen was always playing wonderful Hammond.
:)
