THIMLICH OHINGA: 500 year old, UNESCO heritage site

Kenya is re known worldwide as a preferred tourist attraction for its amazing sites and the unmatched hospitality of its people.among the outstanding but least noticed tourist attractions is the 'thimlich ohinga' stone enclosure in migori which has been described as an architectural master piece.
Shukri Wachu visited the unesco heritage site and tells us how the fortified enclosure whose name in ‘Dholuo' literally means, "frightening forest" served as home to thousands of people for nearly 500 years.
