When you start taking mail in repairs again, I need to get my Galaxy fixed so I don’t have to replace it. Was supposed to be new when I bought it but never worked
I have a question I have a Galaxy 44V and looking for meter And speaker for it what radio could I get it from would cobra 29 be the same I want send it in too get fix but this was giving too me from my dad it means alot too me and I don't want usps or any shipping Company to put their hands on it cause I know how rough they are with things so I prefer to fix the small stuff myself
I been watching your videos love your work . I have this 959 that is just a piece of working crap. The q39 transistor has been removed other stuff has been done . I would like to know if you would be interested in doin my 959 up all the upgrades make it a dual final mofet rig . Im not even sure its worth it. I does work sounds bad on ssb and crunchy but load on am.
Sir i have a problem with this radio, when i transmitt / push PTT on AM mode output power RF does'nt appear (Jamming), it can be appear power RF if i modulate like SSB mode, what's the problem of that?

I have the same thing on a Dak 10. No transmit no receive on lower side band I do have upper and am .any suggestions?

What you charge to look at a Galaxy DX44V and a Connex CX-3400HP not sure about Galaxy it was my dad's and connex something wrong with the board

Meters and speakers I only use new ones. They are cheap and easy to get. But yea you can.

What caused the choke to burn up?
I'm not familiar with how they work but my best guess would be the flat top causing heat to build up.
