My heart goes out to you sweet Cheryl. That is unbelievably difficult to deal with anytime but especially Christmas. I love the idea of celebrating solstice and embracing the cosy vibes and just hibernating and taking life slowly 🤗
Thanks lovely, I'd rather be open just so you folks know why I'm not a jolly person in December, I like a lot of bits of it but others are too much or have memory connections. I love that everyone has the greenery tree bit, lights and eating together in common. Even if it's other festivities it all involves a meal with people you really appreciate and time with is the best thing to spend in December in my opinion x
Thanks lovely, I've always been open with that time of year being not good and think it's why I'm open about mental health and saying bits out loud, the good and the bad as keeping it in isn't good at all.
i hope you get well soon! its very lovely to hear you speak so openly about your december time experience and struggles it feels like talking with a friend., celebrating solstice seems like a lovely way to spend the winter season. I recently bought the utensil pot from Aldi that looks like knock of la crueset! hoping mine has though caserole dishes when i do the food shop next monday! the stairs would have made me scream too lol!
I'm now in that tired stage so beyond the poorly feeling now thankfully! It's nice to hear that my openness and transparency is good to hear and that's all I want to be, like a really good video from a mate chatting, it's amazing how many times I chat back to people I follow as they chat like a friend sending a voice note! I've always appreciated how things we celebrate came from something else and it's a lot of everyone's celebrations with the bits we all personally like and the inner historian in me loves to know the history behind things! Oh nice I picked up the utensils pot and was tempted as well as the canisters as they were a lovely colour but I resisted! Bloody stairs now refuse to walk down them in slippers
@ yeah it’s very nice, I love watching the vids while working so it’s v nice to just have calm and very validating videos! Hearing you talk about your spoons ect your channel feels very safe to be watching. Yeah is v nice how things spin off to make other celebrations and I’m glad you can find your own things to do this December especially through the harder times. I’m such a sucker for the orange colour I move from shared housing with friends and my partner to a place with my partner next year so I’m Slowley picking up little bits with them to make our kitchen cozy and warm toned!
@@Strawb3rribabi ah I'm so pleased i can do for you what other people do for me! And its nice to know I'm calming, never been called that before and its so kind! All I'd want to be is a safe space as i started this as a talking therapy for myself as find I'm too self aware for normal therapy so trying something else to help me figure out as I go and acknowledge issues with myself I've been ignoring and learning how language can get bits across e.g. the spoons! Ohhhh the orange is so rich and warming, your kitchen is gonna have warm crunchy leaf vibes which is so cozy and just cuddle in a room! Fingers crossed they've got the casserole dish for ya Monday lovely x
@ I find the same ! When I tried therapy I often felt I was too self ware and very much like ‘I did this this week and I reacted this way, because of x y z’ and my therapist was very much like yeah…so it didn’t do much! The videos are a great source of calming company n im glad theyre useful for you too!!
Welcome and thanks so much for subscribing! Thanks so much lovely, it's in it's autumn colours atm as I'm a sucker for looking like a pile on crunchy leaves!
Get well ❤
