This is the 3rd part of a series of videos documenting the inaugural commemoration of the official recognition of the Quinta Vale das Amoreiras Forest in Aljezur, Algarve, as a Private Protected Area, still only the second in Portugal.
A video with 10 minutes taken from a 1h30m talk where educator and entrepreneur Sibylle Riedmiller presents the Private Protected Area Chumbe Island Coral Park, located in Zanzibar, Tanzania.
In five brief chapters with some beautiful images, the history of the project, the focus on education, the work in nature conservation and biodiversity protection, the partnerships and exchanges with the communities, the economy and sustainable technologies, and the importance for the planet, regions and nations, of the "Private Protected Areas", the PPAs.
