Both of LBSUs title appearances of since 2021 ended in like bad ways. This year Vargas with a mishandle and in 2021 the net call on Knipe. Just unfortunate
1:19:02 I like Rowan as much as the next guy, but Jakob Thelle has only been gone for a year. Edit: Although to be fair, Thelle wasn't very good until his 3rd year (of 5 total). Rowan is just a second year and already has as many championships as Thelle got. Who knows how good this guy will get
Thelle was very good all of his years, the only year he sat was behind Worsley. Then 2020 shut the szn down. He won back to back and was in 4 straight Nattys. This ucla team is incredible, rowan is too, but they don’t need rowan as bad as Hawaii needed Thelle.
@@jayricedorff380 If I remember right, Thelle started 2020 off decently but then in the second half of the season (before it was cancelled) he sat a couple games behind Sheward. I don't think it was his serving that was ever the problem. Just his setting that really wasn't on point for a while there. But that doesn't change the fact that he was in 4 straight championships and won two of them. I'm just really interested in how far Rowan is going to go
I’m still wondering why women’s volleyball is more popular than men’s volleyball in USA, after I listen to Micah interview the men’s volleyball USA setter he said that they don’t get much love from US like they do in Philippine that was kinda sad hearing he said that
US have lots of other sports to attract people's interest and attention. Baseball, American Football, Soccer, Basketball, etc. Volleyball is popular in the Philippines because it is largely an indoor sports and usually the most convenient alternative to basketball that can be played readily on the same court/field. Philippines climate that alternate between humid hot and humid wet isn't ideal for most outdoor sports and large well-maintained playing field (that other sports, like baseball and football, require) are often out of reach for most communities.

UCLA blocks doing a good job on Henno and makes him struggle offensively
What happened to Hawaii
They lost to UC Irvine in the Big West Tournament, which would've granted them a berth in the national tournament.
