Both of LBSUs title appearances of since 2021 ended in like bad ways. This year Vargas with a mishandle and in 2021 the net call on Knipe. Just unfortunate

1:19:02 I like Rowan as much as the next guy, but Jakob Thelle has only been gone for a year.
Edit: Although to be fair, Thelle wasn't very good until his 3rd year (of 5 total). Rowan is just a second year and already has as many championships as Thelle got. Who knows how good this guy will get
Thelle was very good all of his years, the only year he sat was behind Worsley. Then 2020 shut the szn down. He won back to back and was in 4 straight Nattys. This ucla team is incredible, rowan is too, but they don’t need rowan as bad as Hawaii needed Thelle.
@@jayricedorff380 If I remember right, Thelle started 2020 off decently but then in the second half of the season (before it was cancelled) he sat a couple games behind Sheward. I don't think it was his serving that was ever the problem. Just his setting that really wasn't on point for a while there. But that doesn't change the fact that he was in 4 straight championships and won two of them. I'm just really interested in how far Rowan is going to go
