I did my instrument pod the same way...alcantara top and leather face, in black. You will like. Looking forward to seeing the rest of the alcantara touches. 👍🍻....

Whoa whoa whoa. Bruce, i don't know whose early 928 you were driving but my 78 has few of the mentioned accoutrements. It is however a nearly perfect Grand Touring car.

John, A lot of the creature comforts were added a long the way but my 1990 is pretty well appointed. They were all great cars to drive! Thanks for watching. I usually have a new video every week so please subscribe to my channel if you haven't already.

Hello Bruce, How did you purchase the improved console from Paul Champagne? Is there a website? Thank you

I’m not sure if Paul Champagne is still doing that work and I dont see his website anymore. Try calling Classic 9 Leathershop. They do 928 I terrors and may be able to help.

That was supposed to say interiors, not I terrors.

I really want to get my interior done on my crack free 928 but I haven’t found anyone asking for less than 10k

You could check out Classic9 leather shop. You may be able to get the covers and have them installed locally.

I'm a year late here, but I had Lakewell (Belgium) make new covers in nappa leather and pasha velour. I also purchased a couple extra hydes of the leather and a complete carpet kit. Everything is fantastic quality. They shipped to me in Michigan. My car is a '84 Euro 5-sp.

The 911 is the poor man's 928. Sorry - I gotta call balls and strikes. the 928 was European "Car" of the Year 1979. No other sports car including the 911 has ever won "Car" of the year. The 928 has won 2 production car land speed record at Bonneville (1986 and 2020) - the 911 has exactly won none. Even 911 enthusiast Magnus Walker has started his 928 collection - its Now or Never for the 928 still the biggest Bang for the Buck in classic Porsches. Singer/RWB/RUF could easily reimagine 928s - its just a matter of time before someone specializes in customizing and outlawing 928s - There is no substitute.
