The Gamers event wasn't a concert, otherwise they'd have recorded it far enough in advance for Mio's break to not be an issue. The literally just played games in front of an audience across 2 days. Had about half a dozen guests on rotation to fill in for Mio. If they sang the new song at some point during the paid portion, I haven't heard about it
oh really. that's interesting. Honestly I hadn't really looked into the event beyond just hearing about Mio having to pull out. It's cool that Hololive is doing things other than just concerts for paid events.
They performed some songs during the paid portion, the setlist was posted on Twitter:
Day 1: Wonky Monkey, Mogu Mogu Yummy, Yakou Tsuushinn, Konkon Beats, SSS
Day 2: Letter, Trouble Wander, Neko Kaburi-Na, Howling, Our Bright Parade
And both days they sang We are GAMERS! as the opener.
I didn't watch it though, so I'm not sure who sang Mio's songs.
The event was literally described as having singing and gaming, even said they'll sing the new song during the event
