i have seen him couple of times in my area as am also staying within that iba and igando axis.. immediately as i started watching this even before he stated where he resides i told my wife and children that i know this man some where around... no issues whenever i come across him i will relate it to him and find a way to link you guys..or better still if you can get his contact from the court it will be good if they can release it to you.... cheers

This judge sounds biased, she's so concerned about her bonding with the children not even considering if they will be safe with her....My woman abandoned 2 kids with me years back, a boy and girl and my daughter was the oldest at just 4 years old, last month March 2024 she came back to claim them and my daughter is 16 now while the boy is 13...she took me to the police and lied that i beat her up every time she come to see the children that is why she has not been visiting, this is someone i haven't set my eyes on for almost 12 years,she bribe the police lady that was in charge of the case to locked me up just so she could go with the children, thank goodness my son refuse to go but she went with my daughter till date I don't know where they are...fear women.

This is the first time I'm seeing judge Fumi not telling the raw truth like telling the woman her wrongs instead of petting her for her wrong behavior over the years. After 11years she now realizes she wants to be a part of their education and the judge is saying to the man that "you're even a pastor". So because he's a pastor, he should be happy that he has a disloyal woman as a wife who left him and the kids for over a decade. Abuja men don finish you remain shafts, now you remember your children. I'm disappointed judge Fumi and I hope she won't corrupt the 19years old daughter to become like her.
I agree with you. Judge Funmi did not address the woman truthfully, she is clearly taking sides. If it’s the other way round I know her she won’t be this mild. She is still kind of accusing the Pastor after all the woman has done. Thank God the children are there to corroborate the man’s story. I pray God will bless the man to take care of his kids.

Every child needs their mother and father and two wrongs don’t make a right. They are both at fault including her family but the man should know better as a Pastor even more than the woman who is not.
I like it when men step up and defend their families. Some women don't understand that when you choose family, that is your primary assignment, NOT the job! Any job that separates you from your family has long-term consequences. It is not a popular reality, but it is a FACT.

This judgement can never force this girl to bond with her mum considering how traumatised she sounded. The mother appeared less bordered by her daughter's outburst. Madam, that you bore her in your womb is no longer a reason for her to embrace you if you had abandoned them for 11yrs.
The girl has come to an age where her feelings are defined & justified; and her age and decision backed by law (no longer a minor).
There has to be sincere apologies, total change of attitude from the mother and a display of genuine love to her children to win their affection back.
Court judgement can not enforce that, even if you rule for her to have access to them.
No child can forcefully bond with an unrepentant and loving mother or father. She need to first of all repent, apologize and amend her ways especially on how she treat her kids. True love birth positive feeling so does hate and maltreatment birth negative feelings and hate.
If the woman need her kids trust me she knows what to do, the judge should not force bonding between the woman and her kids if it can't come through submissiveness and repentance from their mother.
For me I will ask the woman what she really want because all I could gather from her is that she want to be part of her kids education like some kind of investor so that could have a say in their future. I expect true mother not able to hold it together when she saw a daughter she left 11 years ago in tears but also break down into tears too and run to her daughter

When men and women feel entitled to being fathers and mothers because they’re biologically responsible, they forget underlying responsibilities. For someone trying to get her children back after many years, she’s not ready…especially with the reply she gave her crying child. I doubt she’ll ever get there with the children. She needs to be more empathetic.
After she too may have been emotionally and physically abused by her own parents....Africa is a jungle, we are cruel even to our offspring.
Parents are also people dealing with childhood trauma as well.

Dunno how this judge can be rated on competence! Why does the guy have to pay more (fare to Ikeja as opposed to Egbeda) for multiple children to see a mother they don't want to see.
You're right though, she should have been made to pay all the expenses for abandoning her children, but the judge is trying to be fare considering the woman is coming all the way from Abuja to Lagos. I know the man is also thinking how to raise transport fare to Egbeda since he's financially down for now.
You guys are failing to understand that all that matters here is healing and wholeness. Those kids will never be functional adults if they hold onto the fact that their mum abandoned them. They may grow up and treat their offspring that way. The man can't be a saint in all of this because his speech is full of bitterness with a sprinkle of resentment... He shouldn't add fuel to a burning fire... Marriage no be by force, if a foolish woman "abandons her kids and kids for prostitution" 😂😂 😂😂 I laugh her because her end will be terrible. As far as I am concerned, those kids come first before any other thing in life especially the female child. I don't understand why they agreed she should be apart 11 years ago when that girl was just 8 years old. Anything could have happened, what if she was sexually assaulted... Me I don't know ohhhh but I wish I knew the full story... If the woman actually wanted to have those kids, she should have complained about this custody a long time ago ... The 19 years old is detached already and I don't blame her because she went through the most important part of her life without her mother.... but should still be encouraged to heal and bond with the mother if possible... But if the mother is actually a bad person, then so be it... It's her path...
I also know as a fact that sometimes, the parent with custody manipulates and exaggerate facts to gain more trust or make the kids hate the absent parent. But a wise parent will understand that such attitude only gives temporary relief but on the long run, their will always be a void in the life of those kids...

It was quite obvious that the children are scared of her and emotionally detached from her. Also I’m inclined to believe the man because of the daughter’s reaction. A normal mother on seeing her daughter for the first time in 11yrs would have run to her and embraced her…. My heart broke for her when she burst out crying
I think the court should offer them some psychological counseling on how to mend their daughter-mother relationship so they can move forward

But at some point i paid for her to go to school for her masters because she didn't have a stable job and her income was very low so i was the bread winner and sent her to enhance herself academically. The man might be in a similar situation.
She is a partial judge, well to put it mildly she is absolutely partial in this case and try every way possible to push the blame on this thoughtful man and his innocent daughter that have felt so abandoned and neglected by her mother. This gentle man i never knew his name until the wife says he insisted in coming to see her new place first before releasing the children. Then I say to my self that sounds like what an Igbo man would do and lo and behold i was right . We might not be the best husband and can be controlling which i believe is very necessary yes but we just do not abandon our children.

Well, there must be other things that have contributed to this breakdown. The woman wanted 'a better life'. However, she could have still found her way back by virtue of a redeployment to be with her family! As a woman that is key. Children bond so well with mums than dads (speaking generally). This is your child, A WOMAN! that outpour of emotion is from anger, annoyance, hatred, buried and rooted in her mind.
The father 'may' have added salt,pepper, ginger and garlic to worsen it.
My advice The woman has to drop any preconceived anger, DROP IT! and reconcile with her children for whom you carried and endured the pain of 9 MONTHS!
The father too has to do same. So that they wont see their children replay the mistakes they the parents made.

I lost interest the moment you started with “WELL” I knew you was going to make excuses for the woman. The man has every right to add salt if at all he did. Do you know what it means to raise 3 kids when their mother is not far away. It means that 19yr old had to learn to use sanitary pad from the man. Which man would be proud of that? This case is beyond only female judge to handle. She is obviously taken sides. There is a need for a male judge with her in order to strike a balance in cases like this in the nearest future. She failed her professionalism!
I'm really disappointed with the judge. The children are not adults with their opinion and emotions. So, they have a right of who to associate with and should not be forced by any one to associate with their mum!
