She’s not too young for him, she’s just too naive and innocent for him. perhaps that comes with a younger age but over all he’s waiting for her to become as bitter and cold to the world as he is before he can see them having a realistic relationship together but the wedding bells in the background suggest that despite him thinking she’s quite literally too sweet for him, he can’t help but imagine a future with her.
