      @sqnhunter 3 ปีที่แล้ว +11

      @@user-je8qo5dz5w Rhodesia didnt surrender. Rhodesia left the commonwealth between 1964 and 1978 and fought on as an independent country. An agreement with Rhodesian government saw them return to the folds of the commonwealth under England in 1978 and within the year, the fucking poms sold them out under presssure from many other interfering countries. 6 million votes in a population of 3.5 million at the time said rigged...and there was a contingency in place for that...however..."gloria" was never called....and the country slipped into the darkness of communism, darkness and despair. 250,000 odd white people left to the slaughter. This is why just two years later on 1982, England went to war for just 1600 English people on the other side of the world. Margaret Thatcher swore she would not let her new government bare the shame that the previous government had in Rhodesia.

      @@user-je8qo5dz5w You have to ask the Vatican, why they decided to terminate Rhodesia. Rhodesia was named after Cecil Rhodes, a relative of the Earl of Rothes (aka "Baron Rothschild"). Cecil Rhodes advocated for a World Empire with the UK on top. They created it and named it "the United Nations". The only problem is, the Vatican owns the UK, so the UK is not on top and is expendable. Rhodes knew that, but he had to propagandize the British to fight for domination. The Vatican is the suzerain but it doesn't actually have a standing army. It has to use the British, the Russians, the Spanish, the Americans, the Chinese etc., to do the dirty work.

      They surrendered technically .The war finished them. They where CALLING for help they knew they would not win and their losses were growing , the guerrillas had taken control of the territory and the settlers were on a constant territorial retreat. a clear sign the guerrilla tactics were eroding the resilience the Rhodesian army had showed the German in the world war.
      The guerrillas had no time to pose for photos they were illusive and the settler army spent much of its time looking for them but hardly finding them. Most of the dead black bodys in camouflage where of Rhodesian army casualties but their colour suggests that the guerrillas were most hit which is contrary to reality. The Rhodesian army was majority black.
      but tactics employed by the native fighters reduced them to victims and they tapped out.

    Hats off to the brave lads. I served as a State Registered Nurse at the Mashoko Mission Hospital on the Matsai Reserve, 1975 to 1976. The Rhodesian African Rifles set up camp at our air strip. Great lads. The BSAP always had our backs. Then the sad day came in June 1976 when we had to pack up everything not red hot or nailed down at the hospital a bug out. It makes me so very sad the communists have ruined a lovely country and its people.

    As a Brit who was born over a decade after the fall of Rhodesia i cant help but feel sad about what happened. How the west turned their back on their moral ideology for the sake of race relations and misplaced guilt. The memory of Rhodesia will never die as long as its stories are told. May i recommend making a few videos about some of your experiences in the bush war, i for one would like to hear them, and doing so means that the memories live on.
