    fracine is a nederlands philanthropist ,he helped build the central primary and there is an opharnage on the opposite side also run by the family ....that's my hood -i have a place just at the back there !...he built a secondary school too....nice family.

    Siaya is not that bad has we have been made to believe.
    Though my county went there almost ten years back .Very highly underrepresented .

    Siaya never grows. Worked here 2005 my first job and still the same. Kind of no big change

    Thanks for showing us Siaya, the very narrow roads with rough edges and pot holes you call inroads are actually access roads in the CBD poorly constructed and maintained by the county.

    Was in Siaya last weekend and was Shocked that there's no growth , the Road is bad from Luanda to Siaya . The good thing is I saw somalis n if given a chance then they will develop the town very first.

      That family is allergic to development, no single tarmacked road in gem ward spcecifically Marenyo after 10yrs of devolution. If you compare devts in Kakamega to Siaya, u just wonder what's wrong with the governor.

    There is no economic activity going on in Siaya apart from retail shops should just be shut down it never grows I blame our politicians very short sighted and Baba is quite while other regions like kwale which used to be the poorest regions are overtaking Siaya. Just tour kwale and see for yourselves
