I have been most honoured to be able to witness in person the Hokkien Green Lion dance performed by the renowned 中華武術青獅團 during my trip to Singapore in March this year.
I was introduced to the Masters as well as the Elders of the troupe who had many years of experience tucked under their belts in performing this sacred ritual dance.
Point to note is the 7 star steps entrance the Green Lion has taken upon entering Poh Tiong Beo temple located at Lorong 6 Toa Payoh which is rather rare.
