I was searching for a reaction to this movie a week ago and the one’s available weren’t to my liking. My first thought was, “I wish Mr Video had one”
Thank you! You legit review the movie in a non distracting way, while still being perceptive about the plot. Too many reaction videos are people either talking over pivotal scenes and then being extremely lost and not getting the point of the film.

Yes, I can't watch some of these movie reaction video's because they talk too much and miss most of the movie or pause like every few minutes....I been a sub of Leo's for a long time, you can actually enjoy his reaction and experience it right along with him.
This is one of the only movies that has ever made me tear up. One of Adam Sandler’s best and so underrated.
Same this and Bruce Almighty are both comedies that make me cry near the end.

The dad scene always gets me, I watched this film during my childhood, on a day I fought with my dad, imagine my pain during that scene. To me, one of the best Sandler movies without a doubt.
Same here. When I was in college, my dad and I got into a heated argument about my sister. I felt so angry that night coz he was accusing me of not taking care of my sister since we both go to the same university. Little did I know, that was the last time I would get to see and talk to him in person. About 5 months after that fight, he passed away. To this day, I still remember that last argument and wished that I could take it back.
(43:44) Every time I watch this scene I get legit goosebumps, something about this scene feels so ominous, the rain pouring down🌧 the cinematic and powerful strings and pianos 🎹🎵 The blue lighting, Also Adam Sandler’s acting in this scene is PHENOMENAL! The way he’s shaking and trying to stay alive and how he’s whispering cause he can’t really speak. It gets me every time, also the fact that this is an Adam Sandler movie is Mind Blowing! I did not expect something like this! 👌

I just remembered this movie and I saw that scene where he sees his dad for the last time and hearing the dad say I love you son made me think of my dad who passed away almost a year ago, and I immediately burst into tears.
My favorite movie of all time. Both my kids cried with me while we were all watching it. Especially since we’re all close to each other.
This movie made me realize life keeps going and doesn’t stop so you have to stop and look around and not have regret

Michael's mother was played by Julie Kavner. Otherwise known as Marge Simpson. Its very rare to see her in a film.
This is one of my favorite movies. I remember when I watched it in theaters I was so surprised by the dramatic turn in took. A truly amazing film
Yeah that is one nitpick I always had with it, in that it gets way too dark way too fast.
I’ve seen a lot of stories balance out the comedy and drama well but this tonal shift made it feel like two different films.
Still like the film overall,
one of Sandler’s best performances.

This one was soo unexpected for me. I thought it would be the classic Adam Sandler comedy. Never thought I'd be boo-hoo crying toward the end lol && you're the perfect person to react to this with your rich emotional responses. Great vid!
This movie is so underrated. I used to watch this everyday almost. This was one of his first more darker type of drama mixed with comedy. Sandler can act in any genre. Not to many people like him, Jim Carrey, Will Ferrell, Robin Williams
adam sandler said in an interview he made this film as a message... the autopilot represents the worker in us...and it should never be more important than family.

Think you missed that Rob Schneider was Prince Habibu and I don’t know if you noticed the voice of Sandlers mother sounded a lot like Marge Simpson. Julie Kavner, who played his mother, is the voice actress for her.
Adam Sandler is undefeated… I highly recommend “50 first dates” and “just go with it” two more amazing Adam Sandler movies

Just to clarify, it wasn't necessarily a dream given that the remote shows up again with the note from the "angel" then he throws the remote away. Was really hoping you would do this one and enjoyed it as much as I had hoped. Now just wishing for you to do "Shanghai Noon" another Jackie Chan action comedy western with Owen Wilson.
I used to watch this movie on repeat in the background all the time. Full unload: I feel like I didn't learn anything from this movie and I'm letting my kids down, I don't spend enough time with them and I might as well be living my life with fast forward on....I'm going to make a change

The father scene - I made sure to spend a lot of time with my father and was there that last day. Setting up camp at the lake for the Fourth of July, wind blew camp down... we went and got two 16oz Miller Lites and two Del Tacos, went back to the lake and enjoyed. Got back to the house, he stood up out of the passenger side and... I was looking into his eyes as he went. I miss him every day.
Not to bring people down, yeah, this hurts unlike anything you can imagine, but the man lived a good and full life and the last things he saw/did, ate two tacos and had two beers at sunset at the lake. It could've been worse.
Enjoy both good and bad in life - endure fights, enjoy laughter.
This movie messed me up and made me realize that busting my ass off and ignoring everything else, even if I had the best intentions, isn't the way to go about things. Scared me into valuing family more.
This is a genius contemporary rewrite of the Faust story from the Renaissance period.
Faust was a man who made a deal with a devil named Mephistopheles, called forth by Faust to get knowledge and power that Faust thought could be used for good and thereby confound the plans of the devil. For this, Faust signed away his soul, which Faust didn't even believe was a real thing.
The twist was that whatever good Faust tried to do with his knowledge and power went wrong. Basically, Faust's abilities were corrupted by knowledge and power that came from a corrupt source. You can't game the Devil; he invented the con.
There's a film I think you would really, really like: "Michael" starring John Travolta.
It's similar to the monkey paw trope, what ever you want and wish usually ends n disaster, Faust is a great story as are most old stories like shakespear, gilgamesh, odyssey, illiad
This is one of my favourite all time movies, I've never fully watched it through without crying, even as a mid-20's male.

Adam sandler is one of these special breed of actors that either makes a rare game or makes a complete crap. Love Adam Sandler, and this movie ever since I first saw it back in 06, I always remembered it, cause it was emotional and it struck, and how it was about enjoying lifes little moments and not trying to skeem thru it. I think there's a lot of people who just don't give movies by Adam Sandler a fair chance because they don't like his immature humor, but he has so many good movies that people just don't give him credit for, even this one.
This is probably the only movie that does the "it was all just a dream plot" correct. It's usually a lazy writing trope but the movie would've been way too depressing if it ends the way it was on pace to.

This is one of my favorite movies. This movie is about being grateful and content with what you have. Make the most of the relationships with the people you love because time moves fast and before you know it, it's all over.
Seen this multiple times over the years and if the dad scene doesn't get me, the "family first" death scene does every time.

Saw this one with my favorite cousin in the theater, and I definitely teared up. I didn't remember Christopher Walken showing up throughout the movie instead of just at the start and end. If it wasn't a comedy, I'd be pissed off if it all got undone at the end, but this is a comedy, and so it should be fixed at the end.

Dont have my own family where I live now, and have been away from home for 11 years. My father, when he was dying of cancer when I was a kid left us a note on putting family first, and I always feel like Ive let him down in that respect.... which is why this movie hits home pretty hard when I watch it. Hopefully others can learn from it

Man, I have only seen this movie one time. It was back in high school, and at some point I started crying so hard that my mom thought I had gotten a call that someone died. XD
This really subverted my expectations for how it was advertised. To date it remains the second most emotionally upsetting Adam Sandler movie I've ever seen. #1 is Reign Over Me; what I consider his best acting performance I personally watched. And no, I never got around to seeing Uncut Gems, so I can't comment on that.

Reign over me is Adam Sandler's most underrated movie. For a couple reasons, his performance, and the fact that very few people have actually seen it.

Even years after loving this movie I go back to watch it time after time, and it hits even harder when I watch it, it’s such an amazing film. The sandman did such a great job, laughed, cried, really thought about life, teaches you about the most single important thing is life can be, and that’s family. Take your time while your here, there’s another place we’ll go to stay forever. 🙌🏼god bless you brother
